Being a man of contemplation is about all a poor dude like me can do anymore. Thanks for your interest.
  • Poet-treeman on August 26, 2006
I am honored by your comment. I am delighted and enriched when I read your works. You're a man of contemplation of the vastness that is life. You've gleened certain truths and with your mastery of words are able to express them so that we all may feed on them also.
  • Wesley Storer on August 26, 2006
Thank you for your comment on "What shall I say of Love"? Losing in love wouldn't be half so bad if we didn't see the object of our intense affection get snapped up by someone we think may be unworthy. Just ot be on the street where you live.
  • Wesley Storer on August 17, 2006
Hello there 53 year old poetry treeman! Are you still in Tennessee? Yes, there are still vast empty spaces around Spokane, because many people don't like the inconvenience of going there, or perhaps they are so poor like me they can't even afford a 70 dollar tent for their backpack. Nevertheless, we can go there in our minds and I very much appreciate the fact that your keen senses are aware of this! It is great to be appreciated by one such as yourself! Thank you.
  • Poet-treeman on August 11, 2006
My dear friend Renee, I am honored and humbled by your words. I gravitate to your words of wisdom. In the dark, you are my moon who's light I can find my way with. Your spirit and strength refreshes me. There is a true anointing upon you as anyone who has eyes can see. And through you many are blessed. Love always. Albert.

Thank you for your favorable comment on "If I could shut the Gate", by author unknown. Perhaps the author didn't sign it because it seemed so personal. It seems all prayers between people and God would be very personal. And so the challenge seems to be for poets to write poetry that rings with the sincerity of personal conviction, yet leave room for everyone to identify with it. Best Wishes Tennessee Man!

yes, it sounds like it. that is why i got affected by it. i couldnt really find the words i would have liked to chose and here i found this so i translated it and thought she can put the translation so everyone can read it.
oh my! you are so perceptive. i would have loved to be the writer.
thank you for your wishes. i want a love and a relationship similar to the one you are describing and yet special to me and whoever fate choses. so i will hope.
    thanks
  • Poet-treeman on April 29, 2006
My dear friend, this sounds like something that you would have written. It is love, devotion and surrender personified. I know that you lose much in translation; but I think that you've done a wonderful job here. Thank you so kindly for sharing. May your love find its wings.
  • Nermin Nazim on April 29, 2006
hi! i found a beautiful piece by coincidence, i translated it and sent translation to poet here to publish it on the same page where she published the original in her mother tongue.
i am forwarding you my translation and if you can feel it then i did a good job because the original is so powerful. the author is called resoulrose.

    Excuse me!

Excuse me, but I'll strip and expose my charms to you
    With no embarrassment nor coyness
I'll wear my perfume and touch up my performance
By teasing you and kindling your blaze
Totally enamored I am, I'll throw myself in your embrace
Getting pleasure and smothering my fires with your kisses
    You won't prevent me
You'll melt in my passion and longing
Your moans will intensify rising and sounding
As a melodious tunes are to my ears
    Inflaming my provocation
And elevating me to higher levels
I'll dive in the depths of your hideaways
    Conquering your thoughts,
    Challenging your voraciousness
Transcending the frontiers of your dreams
    Becoming your only horizon
Your mind and hands will exclusively seek me
I'll possess your imagination and passion
From me and by me alone you'll quench your desires
Never will I accept a substitute
    As only you I seek.
  • Nermin Nazim on April 27, 2006
in fact this is the genre i prefer and feel comfortable with, but my work and the life i lead with political shows and debates and news is always pulling me away to the materialistic side i dread and always being on my guard in that terrible corrupt environment. i am really tired.
  • Nermin Nazim on April 27, 2006
yes true very true humanity, such a noble word that we soil and debase with the evil deeds we do. Being spiritual and deeply spiritual adds insight, tolerance and wisdom to the person i believe.
you are a kind person yourself and it shows through your words.i am honored to have met you as a number of wonderful people on this site. thank you for being there.
  • Poet-treeman on April 27, 2006
Nermin Nazim Nazim, humanity transcends races, cultures, religions and languages. I consider myself not in the least religious; however I am deeply spiritual. I feel that religion is man's way to avoid a personal relationship with our creator. Khalil wrote, "He who wears his morality but as his best garment were better naked." What you see in me is a kindred spirit in the great scheme of things. Thank you again for your kind words.
  • Nermin Nazim on April 27, 2006
and thank you for writing such great words and giving us more faith and trust in the all loving and all merciful.
Peace be upon you too my friend.
    nermin
  • Nermin Nazim on April 27, 2006
The words you say are true, you touch the heart by their sincerety and simplicity yet wisdom.
be yourself and dont ever change. LOVE, AND I MEAN LOVE IN ITS ENCOMPASSING SENSE IS SO BEAUTIFUL. it beautifies a person and takes him up high over lowly ends and traits.
    honored to have met you

I’m very happy to know you are back. I heard about you through Lencio poem. Be welcome ! I thought you could have fixed your roots in another fertile ground as plastic arts or hands-healing, as I think I will do someday. Nice to know you are in good shape. Reading your personal page I get the impression, the same impression I have about me, that I won’t be here for long....
I have some (VERY) nice digital pictures of Brazilian trees. It will be a pleasure to send to you. If you want to see one detail, please see the poem: allpoetry.com/Poem/1890706
The image is detail of a white Ipe, a huge tree that flowers once a year, during 3 or four days. We have also the same tree yellow, pink and purple. God bless you and Lencio. (sent a copy to Lencio).

Thank you for your kind comment on "poems from an October Bus Pass." It pleases me that it pleases you. That is quite a sobriquet you have, poet-treeman. Trees must be sacred in their androgonous world and must be eurphoric in their well founded zing and zang become one world. Keep on truckin'

    I'm an arborist too.

Thank you Poet Treeman for your kind comment on "The old Gypsy's Secret". I get one hour a day on the Spokane library computer, so I write my stuff at home and use the computer just for posting. I will read one of your poems.

Thank you Mark for stopping by. I'm new to this site and there are so many great poets that I haven't even begun to check out. I am highly impressed and humbled at the nice comments I've recieved on my submissions from folks that I know really got it together in this field. I study your work, different styles of people and try to figure this thing out a little bit. Mostly I'm having great fun with it all. That's a great observation about trees. Nature can teach us much Again thanks.

    Hi!

I just wanted to say thanks for reading my poem about my childhood dog Skipper. I thought you might enjoy a poem of mine called The Tips of the Tallest Trees since you're a tree surgeon. I've always thought trees are a great metaphor - a firm foundation but always growing and reaching. Here's the link -

    allpoetry.com/Poem/577033

    Nice to meet you,

    Mark
  • Poet-treeman on September 29, 2005
A tree surgeon is one who grooms, trims or removes trees. Altering the appearance of trees (for whatever the reason)is another way of saying it.
  • Poet-treeman on September 29, 2005
Thank you Zonia for your comment and welcome to AP. This site is truly family-like. One is really made to feel welcome from the first day. Went out today and recieved two separate job offers so I hope within a couple weeks to be able to financially help support this site that has in turn given me so much. I love you all.

Thank you for stopping by 247OnCallForFaith. There may be a couple of my poems that may be offensive to some (Dealing with abuse) but overall I endeavor to share the good that I know as well as to recieve nourishment from all you fine folks at AP.
  • Silent-fairy774 on September 29, 2005
what's a tree surgeon?? Thanks for the comment. I love being outdoors.....It's just so beautiful and it gives you such a good feeling inside that you can't describe it.
