    Why is this author great? this screen is asking me? lets see she is a good friend and when shes not busy or at work she would listen to a friend talk...sometimes. I dont know shes the coolest person next to me that i hang out with. And she knows how to write good fricken rocken poems.

    Thank you for the comment The day the ceder tree fell. Peace is so far off I felt so frustrated that I just wrote this poem to try and vent. The Isreali Lebanese crisis is on just about everyones mind right now. Both sides are guilty of war crimes, both sides seems to be on the edge of all out war.
    For what? And why? We are all human beings.
    I think some people are so filled with hate, greed and ignorance. This is proof we live in a very backwards culture. This world is so filled with hate and ignorance.
    We should all listen and hear the cedar tree fall in the forest of nations because that tree is us all, we as human beings face the worse crisis in decades and if we do not act fast the middle east will be the death knell to us all.
    I believe all peace loving people need to direct their prayers, thoughts and energy on healing both here at home and globally.
    It is time we stop hating because of race, religon, gender or whatver.

    You're close to right on the translation.
    It's actually about eyes. The windows to a tormented soul able to be seen into, but the soul not being able to see out and into another's because of lost trust. It is very close to what you were thinking! Good job! Thanks for the comment.

    yeah my poem has a deeper meaning. do you want to know? oh well ill tell you anyway lol. well it means that some people just pass things unnoticed. that some people just take things for granted. for they see a dead tree and they dont see the beauty in which that dead tree can make. Out of something dead, there can always be a beautiful thing or experience. people just take it for granted. thats what i wanted my poem to express. but im wicked glad you liked it. thank you. catch ya later!
