oneluckygirl on November 10, 2003I was drawn here by reading your critiques - so gently stated but direct. It now makes all the more sense in light of your profession. I find myself wishing more would critique in such constructive ways.
I have been toying with the idea of running a contest, not for poems but for the most instructive/constructive critique. Think anyone would enter? -

Yes dreams and links and in the end we will get there. Thank you for your supportive comments. Its a painful world and I find expressing it through poetry as well as my prose fiction is a way of dealing with it. I want to change it and though I realise the limitations of the individual I always remember too that its better to light a single candle than curse the darkness. (Not sure who said that but its very wise!)
I haven't read much of your work yet, but will do so soon. Go well. Cindy -
Pari Ali on October 26, 2003Hello peacedreamer, that is a nice name shows you have our priorities all in the right place, I enjoyed the visit here very much, i cant say it was apleasure because the words in one of your poems saddened me very much but it was a good experience because it is always good to read well expressed well written poems by people who honestly feel what they write about. It is honesty that gives the poem its punch I feel.
