Hi Pari! Great to hear from you.
I had my fillings out in London the other week, you know I have mercury poisoning. Well I've started to have days where I actually feel I have some energy! I cleaned the fridge for the first time in months the other day. It's taking time but I'll get well.
How are you?

What a beautiful author's page you have created. It was such a pleasure to visit here, so serene and welcoming. I read your interview in AllWrite and your blog. You are a super interesting woman quite an artist with words. I can not imagine someone as talented as you being discouaged by a teacher, when you were a child, concernng your writing. How thoughtless that was, but thank God you started into it full steam later in life. I will just have to read more of you. God bless, Lora

Pari,
You have been a lightning rod in my life since I met you almost two years ago on this site. I thank you for your committted friendship, and sisterhooh. Oft times we don't take the time to express how we truly feel about people we encounter. You are a blessing to me, and I thank you for always understanding, and for your compassion.
Love Always,
Renee

Hi! So nice to hear from you recently! I'm not here as much as I used to be...my muse seems to have taken an extended 'leave of absence'. I hope you are well.
Take care!

You say: "My heart though, remains that
of a child finding innocence, beauty and wonder in everything." Indeed, this is more and more what I am trying to do with my own work. You might be interested in my poems "Autumn morning", "sonnett on shrimps" and "rottnest island morning." - I am now writing a lot about the Swan River and Rottnest Island, near where I live.
-
Thank you for your interesting messages and complimentary remarks on my poems. "Redhead with Phosphorus" is my favourite among my own work. "The San Demetrio" is the longest. I would have stopped posting here some time ago except for a few good poets as i am so sick of the nasty neurotic teenagers and sickos. I would like a poetry site such as this to be a place where people who have at least a certain minimum of talent and knowledge, and who share some commonality of view as to what poetry is about or ought to be about, can meet, discuss, and perhaps give one another help and constructive criticism. Poets, at least at the early stages of their careers, need someone sympathetic to bounce ideas off (not necessarily ideas directly about poetry, but all sorts of things. As I say, I'm staying on because of the small minority of good poets but I'm getting very sick of the others.

Hey there! My name is Jasmine. I just wanted to tell you how much I adore your author page! I find the whole "Entering" part of it, the beginning part of it, so serene and so.. peacefull. I loved it. I'll make my way to your poetry. I see you're from Kuwait, that's awesome. My parents are from Jordan. They were married and came here, and I was born in the U.S.A. Anyway, Nice to meet you!
Take Care,

Yes, I did look through your photos and thought they were fantastic, I especially liked the sunsets and market place (haent seen so many prunes since I was at the Italian market many years ago). I will save your email address and keep in touch. I'll read your latest poem a bit later -- I'm off to take a nap (have a nasty flu bug). Helen
-
I will definitely check out the links... where are you moving to Pari? You seem so happy there -- thru your writing I have "sees" the beauty of the desert. Thank you for that. I hope you find your muse again soon. In my case, I think other matters have drawn my attention away from writing and I hope to get back to it one day very soon. Will you continue to post your work here on AP??
-
Hey Pari, I've miss you too. I took some time off from writing, waiting for some inspiration and hoping my muse gets back from holiday soon ) I've also been taking care of some minor medical issues -- nothing serious mind you, just some proactive things that need taking care of. I hope to get back into writing soon, and counting down the weeks until Spring gets here.
Enough about me, what about you? How have you been? How's life on your side of the globe???
Take god care,
Helen
-
page is under construction, new ones not so good, struggling for inspiration... me and mine are otherwise good thanks
-
ohh hello.. you've changed the decor in here... I've been away too long! I see you've posted some new stuff too. I will have to have a nosey and see if I can get some inspiration myself.
All's well here Pari... nothing to report... what about you and yours... how's things?

confused me – that photo looks like it is very polluted where you are . . .Albert.

I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat
Happy Holidays Gregg
