  • The Burning Year : It's ‘Abstract’ on November 26
    I feel like that rant is pointed directly at me...like your hand is inside me twisting around and your eyes are on my eyes and your words are in my ear and I can't do anything about it....
    but..can I say I was happy while reading it..can I say it made me laugh at something if not just myself. Yes..and I have..just now..feels good.

    haha... the anger is entirely put-on. It's intended to be humorous. I find hyperbole, and sarcasm to be particularly amusing forms of humor. The topics are real, however.

    Well you seem to have a few anger issues but i agree with you on quite a few things. especially with the quotes from Oscar Wilde. I'm not sure that your ranting will achieve a great deal but I'm not one to stop you trying.
    Your poetry seems to have a fairly natural flow to it, which is good, the real fun begins when you start to reconfigure raw lines into perfection.

    rave as you will, your comments here are as interesting as your poetry, or at least the one poem Ive read so far, but Ill be back later to read more. If you read my poems please sterilize that rusty spoon, I dont mind the orange stain of oxidation in blank holes where eyes used to be but Im not fond of smelly rot...its just gross. Anyhow, your interesting.

    this was the best rant ive read on a homepage so far, you just said it how i wanted to hear it said, i laughed hard

    i would ask what you think of the Oscar Wilde quotes you have so prominantly positioned at the top of your page-what do they mean to you? In todays context, Im not quite convinced, but maybe im the bad poet he warns of

    Youve already picked me up on my careless use of lithium, Im terrified of going into Wilde territory with you with just a pic of dorian gray and a few bumburys -'a LITTLE learning is a dangerous thing' !

    If you do come across something that the background renders impossible to read, but you feel the need to read it anyway, you can hit CTRL+A (select all), and it helps. Just in case you didn't know.

    Haha! Indeed...center alignment is horrible, tawdry, cheap, etc. I remember, back when I first started writing poetry, I DID center everything...and looking back on that, I feel a deep and intense shame, lol.
