For my baby boy:

It comes in without trepidation, no slight fear,
slowly making its way across the fields of azure.
Dusk's names of pink, lavender, blue take heed
and make haste in their quickening steps.

They become disgruntled and make their beds to sleep,
as the one true color envelopes the rainbow spectrum.
The color of blackened ice spreads across the mother sky,
her children pop out to play with their twinkling smiles.

All becomes hushed;
No words spoken by human or beast,
as the masterful orb takes its rightful
place amongst the traversing heavens.

Moonlight winks,
and the twinkling children
begin their play.

She is the best girl in the world, really I feel so lucky everyday and happy talking with her. She is also a great writer. She writes from the heart and is an inspiration.

I checked out your myspace. Intriguing. Every once in a while I go down to Tacoma, 1/2 way between Olympia and Seattle. Perhaps in the future meet for coffee in Tacoma???
