Only coming to your page to find your latest contest post, I have to tell you how I absolutely love the Carl Sandburg quotes you have posted. It was his very poem, that image of the "fog on little cat feet" that so impressed me as a child to this poetry-obsession today!

Glad I stopped by passing through on my way to your Contest Page...

Yes, my sister had/has depression from a chemical imbalance. It is terrible...for it just shoots off whenever she breaks up with someone!

Well, you are a Napoleon Dynamite fan?! I love that movie!

Thank you once again for you comment, and i think its wonderful that a husband and wife would addopt a child with autism. That takes a great level of courage, faith, love, and devotion, and its really nice to hear that someone would have given a little girl and oppertuntity to have a family, especially one that can love and care for her. Im off to read some of your poetry, and from the looks of it, you are extreemly talented! take care! ~kiersten~

Thanks! I could use more friends... I like your poetry too... I still have a deep rooted faith in God and Christ, and the Mormon religion. I have quesioned the heck out of it, but I can't read the B.O.M. with out feeling that burning of spirit, I can't pray about the First Vision and Joseph, and all that without that feeling of just knowing that it happened, so, Yeah. I'm still a Mormon. Depression sucks! it sometimes slowly pulls apart your soul and light. I hate it! I am trying to overcome it, but, you know. anyway, I think your pretty talented yourself!

hmmm... I grew up a mormon... I kinda fell away from the church though when I was... well.. a long time ago... heh. I am still faithful to the lord, and every day my faith grows stronger, but I could never be mormon again, just a personal past thing that I haven't quite got over.
That's sweet about your daughter. And no, I won't tell you to do anything about your depression, I can only offer you my hand in friendship, and hope that you will take it. You are a very talented writer, I see, and I hope you will find the same of me (hehe, that rhymed )
