How great it is to see you still passing through – even if the muse has not moved you. I too have been in the doldrums since I finished the saga… perhaps rhyme has its limit and a person can flatten the badinage battery… Luckily I live in a rural environment so I can just go out in the back garden and hold onto an electric fence for a jump start… although some of my rhyme does seem a little erratic… it is suppose to help my mad cow’s and alzheimer’s diseases… although who told me that evades my… whatsit.

Sorry if I lured you in by false pretences and you remember that one – I was playing with the clock edit thingy and couldn’t put it back – doh! A bit like summer time… (not when the living is easy – but when we muck about with the clocks.) Are you still planning on the advanced coarse¿? (sic & sick) - If so, count me in¡!

I would really like to sign up for your class, will it ever be available? It always says that the site has to be updated. Maybe it is for invite only?
    Just wondering,

RIP Nando Tater, pecked to death from the shins upwards by a pack of blindfolded chickens!
  • silica on March 10, 2006

Where once a plethora of poets penned,
Now dead silence all in thralls,
Save the crescendo of falling dust…
    And mildew’s burgeoning shawls.

To dust ink fades on shriven sheets,
    Mused meanings mummified
A theme of a dream that once had been…
    Anonymously ascribed.

So kindly allow me to reiterate to ensure I have fully understood the situation as you related it.

Priory to the current period, which we might delineate as ‘today’, the plethoric problems which now beset you had appeared as to be unimportant due to their remote nature; clearly either a serious misjudgement on your part or an ostrich like, ‘turning a blind eye’! It now seems to you however, that these difficulties are in fact not transient but might be of a lasting nature and this conclusion has led you, to a wistful and potent nostalgia for the period prior to today.

Barely without any transition - you felt that you had been reduced in stature – possibly even to less than fifty percent of the original, and further more, there is some umbrae cloud hovering above. Your conclusion is that the change to ‘today’ from the prior balmy situation was both rapid and unexpected.

You also said in your statement that “she had to go” and further, that she refused to reveal to you any reason why she should suddenly depart for a place or places unknown… You surmise that you possibly made some oral faux pas or indiscretion, but can you really believe that alone would cause her to leave? Your reiteration of wanting to turn the clock back seems genuine… but I can’t help think somewhat disproportionate…?

Are you really trying to tell us that your …‘relationship’ was in fact unflawed? Or that it could so quickly descend into such chaos that she departs and you wish to go into hiding, with an overwhelming desire for yesterday? Come on Mister Beatle, tell us what you did with the body – you know you will feel so much better!

I am sorry to refuse your class but I have had a set back and a nerve is pinching and making it hard to acheive the time and thought to the write class. It would be a waste as the nerve is giving me numbness and head aches. I am out of bed now but not up to a class until my therapy is further along. please understand and I will try again when I am more able to learn.Imost remove myself because of illness. Annie, I regreat not being up to it now.

Except for some reason it has stopped counting… perhaps size doesn’t count¿?

In shades of grey they fade away, the pith appeal appalling,
Not with a bang but snoreous harangue the knell of laughter’s calling…
Where then the wiser writher’s words¿? The Tater’s twists too tonguing¿?
Stalled muse in queues - accuse, abuse¡! Severely needs debunging...¿?

Yet slow accretion to completion stalag might hold sway…
But while we wait, per-verse debate – I bring you my five K¡!

The rat’s genealogy… Now that’s a hobby you don’t see ever day – to be honest (shudder), they all look alike to me… is that speciousist? Not with standing – “You dirty rat you killed my brother!” Oh well, enough interruptions, I’ll let you get back to your piece and quiet and experiments with gravitationally challenged pins…

  • silica on April 9, 2005
Long time no see Nando – pop into humour next time you’re passing, there is a new version of Billy Bob’s running. (Plus be good to see you!) Give me a shout next class if you’re short of students – time has faded to misty ghosts… I need a challenge from Mine Host!

‘Tis the season to be jolly – folly dolly folly, blur blah blerp,
    Deck the fools with boughs of holly, smack a’ lack a whack, a glee of gloop;
Don we now our gay apparel, golly dolly golly, snigger and smirk!
And mince about in time to carols… jig a liggle rig a bing bong berk!

I guess if it’s your season to be jolly, it must be our season to be sombre… but since the nearest I can get to sombre is sober in a sombrero, I wish you and yours a very happy Christmas and preposterous new year!

Make 05 – ‘Year of the Book’!!!!
