waydownuponjoy on July 25, 2006Nick, I think that your poem "What Is Heaven" is just beautiful! I wanted to comment on it but was unable to do so, unregistered! It's great to see that you are "keepin' on, keepin' on" and although we've been sorely out of touch, somehow I feel that we ride many the same cloud to unknown heights! your old lady friend, joy

Bubble-Licious on May 26, 2006Hey there! I am here at the moment, clicking around, looking for things to do. I am gonna try and write you a poem. I don't know what it should be about. You are still a mystery to me. I have to get to know you better! I'm still gonna write the poem.
Much love, as always,
Bubbles

NSYancey on April 23, 2006Actually, Scion of Yggdrasil would mean "Child of the World Tree". Yggdrasil is the fabled tree of the worlds in Norse mythology, an ash tree that extends from Asgard to Niffleheim (sp?). My name asserts that I am a child of such importance, not out of arrogance, but out of wonder and awe of such things, in hopeful emulation of that greatness and importance, to be a child of the binding quality of all things.
That's what I interpret it to mean, at least.
Thank you for stopping by to visit my knook of Allpoetry. Have a good day, and take care.

sappho87 on April 22, 2006Ok, so I now know the meaning behind your surname. But what I want to know is what's behind your username?
It caught my attention, your username, from the featured box because it made me think of a villain(at least I think he's a villain, I don't KNOW cause I'm not done yet) in an RPG I recently took up.
Edited on Apr 22, 1:50 p.m. because 'snakes on a plane!'. -
DarknessFleeting on April 20, 2006Just stopped by because I read a very cool poem of yours. I actually read your whole bio and must say that you have intrigued me. I will be keeping a lookout for more poems by you. If you ever want to talk philosophy, I love to get into it. Take care.
Yours in prose,

JazzALTernative on February 19, 2006Hi - I noticed you read my poem Couched Conversation. If you have the time, I'd like some negative comments on it - I'd like to improve it.
-
waydownuponjoy on February 17, 2006Good olde Nick, Hey guy ... I wanted to say thanks for your comment on my old poem! I, like you, seem to like to edit and reedit until what I thought catches us with what I presently think and so therefore, we both rework old pieces. I see nada wrong with this and until a grand NEW revalation opens new doors what else is there. I noted that you've been a wee bit down in the dumps and fumbling for a brighter path and for that I send hugs and well wishes that something will gel for you soon. Life is a bed of roses with thorns and so we must make our way cautiously. I absolutely love Gibran and spent a lot of time musing over his sorrow. Love forlorn and yet he kept on keeping on. His bio is good if you ever can find that book. I read it on a cruise to Alaska and have never seen that volumne since. (I wanted to snatch it up and take it home so I could reread it!) tsh, tsh! Anyway, my friend, head up and smile, for you never know what God has planned for you in the future! Experience is the best teacher! joy

unbeliever101 on January 29, 2006Love oyur opening sentence. and I have no clue what to do either. you have wisdom in that you realize what nature can offer. I totally can relate to how you describe your style as based on your home town. I recently moved form the only house I've ever lived in and it's so weird to not have all that around. anyways, ya sound like my kinda people. great poems. *A
