that's true. reality suckz!! somehow, someday we're all have been there (or will be) i've already been there, but well, i think i was younger, and i didn't took it seriously, and all my friends were there to make me smile. im now in a different school with no real friends. they are there to hang out once in a while, but not to talk with, i really need that. i miss having real friends. *well, i think you could be my first allpoetry.com friend, and i appreciate it. thanks.!! Hey, I loved your style. So emotional. admirable. *im kandy, the one you just comment about "Nothing" i think you're completely right. but you know, this is one of those teenagers frustrated romances, and it's not that i depend on him for a living. it is kinda like he is my only reason for being here, im a person with nothing behind, no support, no love, but his. that's kinda the problem i'm exposing at that poem. i just wanna say thank you because of your comment, it was the first i've ever got. thank you for your opinion about it, so true, so great. thank you.

Hi John...I am trying to start writing again. True, much of what I've done lately is crap. But crap is better than nothing I guess. How is life for you? You are still as gifted and prolific as ever I see. I am SO jealous!!
Things are good here. I have a new teaching job. I am teaching speech and communications now and I am loving it. My students don't always love the speaking in front of the class thing, but I try to work with them. (I was the English teacher in case you don't remember that.) Life is good. Grins.

Yeah...tell your daughter that that is a FAB poem about Marilyn. I love Marilyn Monroe soo much, though I've never actually written a poem about her.

Don't you love it? My 17 year old daughter wrote that poem on Marilyn. She is oh so talented...that isn't even an nth of the poetry she's written. I wish I could talk her into writing on allpoetry, but she spends most of her time on fanfiction. Sigh. Glad you like it, I'll have to tell her.

No problem.... Just a bit to brag about my Texas before I eat my supper... Texas is an enigma. Parts are dry and it can get dusty...but there are beaches in the east, hills in the center, plains to the north, and mountains to the west. It is many, many things with all kinds of scenery. There is something for everyone. It seems to fit all of my moods. Smiles.

You are so kind! We all try our best, and sometimes we touch people with our words and sometimes we don't. Sometimes my students come into class and they absolutely hate poetry. Sometimes I am able to reach them, sometimes not. I still don't see myself as a great writer...but I do see myself as a great teacher.

I am just happy that I can do both and that there is a place called AP where I can share with others. Smiles.

I just wanted to say that I think your tries at being a great writer you have by far surpassed. I try to be the best writer that I can, but it just seems that nothing comes out right. Your students are lucky to have a teacher that's into poetry like you are. I never had that chance. In my eyes, you are a great writer, and I honestly hope that you continue to do so, and fill many more lives with your flowing words.
