Chilling sounds great, but when is the question. I leave for Paris this Thursday, and I'm also going to London. Then, I'm back for one week. Then, I go to Missouri for two weeks. Then I'm back for about a week and a half. Then I go to California for two and a half weeks. Then I start College.....so yeah. I'll try to contact you eventually, though

Hi, Muted Delirium! I am very impressed by your work. I was pulled in by your name on the "adoptee" list, and I am very pleased that I have read some of your pieces. Would you mind too terribly if I adopted you? I would be honored, and maybe we could help each other become better writers. Thanks, and great work!!!!

Hi, I just read the final notes in your epitaph contest, although I had entered it I never read them for some reason. You said you wouldn't mind telling someone why you did not choose their poem. This is such a valuable and rare offer I think I'll take you up on it if it's not too late. Believe me I'm not angry I wasn't chosen, actually I was a little relieved because later on I realized that I'd already won a trophy for the poem and forgotten; I don't think it's right to enter poems that have already won somthing. Nonetheless I would appriciate your imput greatly. I have already removed the poem from the contest, But it's entitled "The Traveler" and is on my page.
Thanks I hope you have the time.

    INTERPRET MY POEM!!!!

The entire point of me writing it was for an interpretation, not for you to tell me that my subject matter was no longer fresh. Sheesh. If you'd been around more often you could have read my Valentines Day Poem. I wrote a special one, just For that stupid holiday. Congrats on the phone thingy, and such- Live long, live free!

  • Muted Delirium on January 2, 2005
Wow, I hadn't caught that the first time reading the poem, but when I looked at it again, it seemed quite obvious, lol. I liked the concept of using the senses in such a way - very creative!
  • Joe Spencer on January 2, 2005
    My poem entitled, "Glass Room."

Each stanza represents one of the five senses. I thought of what it would be like if I did not have those senses in each stanza.

    First Stanza: hear
    Second Stanza: Touch
    Third Stanza: taste
    Fourth Stanza: smell
    Fifth Stanza: sight

Muted Delirium, I would like to send you a little FYI... YOU are not a waste! It seems to me that you see life as a glass half empty than half full. Don't sell yourself short. I can tell that you have a wonderful talent in writing poetry. Don't let go of that. I can't say that K now exactly how you feel because everyone deals with things differently, but I do know the feeling of not being able to have what I think I need to keep going on. Remember, if we base our feelings on someone else's actions, we are going to be a switchboard of confusion and fustration. Please don't see this as an attack on you or your poetry!!!
  • FortuitousFate on December 1, 2004

wow- I have to say that you explained your self better than i did. It sactually pretty scary- i went thorugh a very similar experience, with my ex. But i made him realize what he was missing, and everytime he talked about another girl- yea it hurt. but it all worked out in the long run. because he realized that i was the best thing that happened to him, and he loved me. now were back together and we'll be that way, in love, for a long time! i wish all the best for you! if you ever want to talk or have someone who understands just listen-- ill be here!!!
    luv always

Hey I forgot to tell you that I *heart* your author page. It's got the greatest quotes EVER, and I totally empathize with you on the whole love ordeal, it's a big part of my life right now and I'm not sure in which direction it will take me. Oh and I also forgot to say that the title of the poem I commented on was so fitting for it, wow! Great job (once again!)
  • Mainks on November 3, 2004
lol I thought it said mo, lol, but cool. thanks
  • Muted Delirium on November 3, 2004
Lol...hehe yeah, I'm from Minnesota, but thanks for the lovely comment--I'll make sure I check out more of your poetry as well.
  • Mainks on November 3, 2004
Wow someone else from missouri is on here with me. I'm shocked. I loved your introduction of yourself, it was flawless and I could see myself in your shoes, because believe me I can relate. I've been there before. And currently am.
Keep up the good work, I'm gonna add you as a friend, because if your opening was flwaless I just wonder what your poetry is like.

I love your author page. Absolute! It's quite an eclectic mix of stimulating snippets. I won't do the same thing as everyone else and tell you that I know how it feels to...*insert phrase here*...because we ALL know at some point in our lives how virtually everything feels. But I will say this: if the fiery inferno of emotional trauma has done nothing else for you, take some small comfort in the fact that it seems to have helped you to churn forth some amazing writing and incredibly valid insights into other people's emotions and developments as writers. And thanks for reading/appreciating/placing my contest entry.

I remember being your age and having such emotions. Not the SAME emotions , but ones just as deep. As we grow older we tend to forget how important being a developing adult can be in the great scheme of things. Sadly, as adults we have the same problems we just call them by different names and think they are more important because we have finally reached that magic "21" and are now somehow better than those kids we see. Never discredit your talent...not just as a poet but as a person. You are very mature and understanding and I think I have a new understanding of your choice of names. Also, you are the type of person I would truly like to know better. Maybe we can accomplish that. Whatever , just know you are blessed, even if that doesn't mean your life will ever be perfect.

Quite interesting author's page. Seems like a story unfolding. You've got a rather good collection of things written up there. I know how it feels to pour your soul into someone. To invest in them so much that you simply can't go back. And there it is. The doing may just become its own undoing. You seem an intelligent person. A rare find among the masses. I shall have to read some of your poetry. Don't worry, I always leave a nice long comment unless I have a reason (such as having to leave).
  • Arcomage on September 28, 2004
Hey girl, I feel for you. I appauld you telling Zyco off like that. I know I've talked to you before but I can't remember. If you do want to talk, and I mean this, drop me an IM. I can get online like everyday during school so talk to me. Oh yeah Zyco go to HELL for treating her like that!!!
  • Dark Dreamer on September 26, 2004
I got you covered... I never said I didn't like you.. I merely said that your obsessiveness called me great personal discomfort...
  • Muted Delirium on September 15, 2004
Um...are you confused Z? Or are you just ashamed to say that you broke my heart for another girl, got rejected by her, then slept with my best friend? Whatever. I want nothing to do with you, because you're exactly like everyone else in this damned world. You say you're unique, but you're the same shade of grey as every other person.
  • Zyco on September 14, 2004
LMFAO @ Dark Dreamer. You don't blame her? is that trying to say that you understand why anyone would obsess over someone like that? I mean...come one, the guy she's talking about is a mutant cross between a nerd, a loner, and a....well...something else, lmfao...rotfflmfao. I will now take my leave of this page.
  • Dark Dreamer on September 14, 2004
I never said anything to the effect of "utterly Despising anyone, babe. All I said was that you were a wee bit obsessive. The thing is, by a wee bit. I mean... very... very... ANNOYINGLY obsessive. I don't blame you.
  • Dark Dreamer on September 5, 2004
I wasn't gonna say anything but you know who Holden Caulfield is so... Yeah. Never mind the insanely INTELLIGENT comments on my Best Bud's works of art. I like the hysterical randomness.. "Today a young man on acid..." It's late, so I'll make a more semi-intelligent comment when the sun kisses my head in the morning, though I'll probally make a billion-jillion comments on all of you stuff I can find, because you have been found worthy.
