    Hi Muriel

    I'm another who noted your comments related to Gothicism and the tendency for its "current misinterpretation", in relation to the contest page on which you left your noteworthy statements (of which I hope today's younger generation pays some attention). I entered the contest in question, and was told by the contest owner that my poem was "too happy". Well, please feel no obligation to comment or read, but I shall leave the link for your pure curiosity; you can observe the strange "feedback" I received also from the contest host. I since withdrew from the contest, as it is blatantly apparent that the host does not even realize what she asked people to submit in the first place!

    It is good to see members of AP who are aware that Gothicism is about darkness, but the subtlety and beauty in darkness being paramount. I hope people take note from you and the result will be more beauty, more intellectual writing, and less self-pity and misery
