EstherG : Congratulations... on August 29...on the play! I loved the first one...I mean, I didn't see it, but I still have a copy saved on my laptop from when you posted it on here. Wish I was going to Edinburgh so I could see this one :-(
Hope everything goes brilliantly...and if you were ever to paste the play on here, you would have at least one guranteed reader XXX -
EstherG on January 19Yeah, I love Manchester. I miss living in a city. (I live about 20 mins outisde Manchester by train now in what can only be described as a poky hole. Oh well.) Am very envious of you doing your MA in Poetry...I'm applying to do a degree in Creative Writing and either English Lit, American Studies, or Fine Art, depending on which Uni I get into. I've applied to Manchester (of course), Kingston, Royal Holloway, Durham and St Andrews. So fingers crossed....what are your plans after you've finished your Masters? Or is too early to be thinking about that yet? I'm jealous anyway of your lovely poemwriting and studying and so forth.

EstherG : Hey... on January 18..sorry I didn't reply to your message before Christmas - I was insanely hectic with work and family stuff, and didn't get chance I did go to the Christmas Markets, though, and got very drunk on gluhwein in front of the weird, illuminated Zippy...you? Hope you had a nice festive season etc etc.
Where are you doing your Masters? I'm very jealous..I've just started applying for deferred entry (Sept 2010) which seems forever and ever away. In the meantime, I'm working crazy hours to pay off my debt and save enough money to maybe go travelling for a couple of months before Uni. Only Thailand, I think. I fancy lying around on a nice white-sand beach drinking Tiger Beer and writing poems for a bit.
Hope everything is going well for you- catch me up on what you've been up to - writing, Uni life , etc etc. -
EstherG on November 7, 2008I haven't been on here in ages and ages...and then today I was going through the ton of crap on my laptop, deleting files and moving stuff around and copying and pasting stuff, and I found the comment I started (which is miles long) on your play (which I loved, by the way) which I never posted. And I am terribly sorry about that, because it looks like I wasn't really all that interested, and I actually thought it was wonderful and original and amazing.
How are you? How is Uni? Hope things are still going well. It's funny that the last comment I have from you mentions the German markets, and any minute now they'll be setting up their twinkly little stalls again... -
