I like the new name, you should stop by and say hi to me because I am worried you have been kidnapped in SF

and some random hugs for you
  • Sabindi on June 16, 2006
Oh Ok Dani, I get you. I guess you could say that my special talent is writing poems about nature, spritual things and colors. Hence my poem for this contest would best suit my nature talent. I do however, try my hand at other talents from time to time, but I do love nature, probably the most. Hugs, sunny smiles and lotsa love. Marilyn

Oh, I do like your poem. The wording does get a bit strange from time to time and I know that it's to fit your rhyme scheme. One of the reasons that I'm not too keen on rhyme. But I like your poem; the originality is killer. I'm just not sure what "talent" you were using for my contest (because you're supposed to have a specific talent, you know).

Thanks for the question; I hope I cleared things up for you.
    ~Dani

Hi Danni, and thank you for your comments on "Amazing Chameleons" I am not sure what you mean about "talent" with regards to this poem? What is it that you feel is lacking or needs improvement on? Is the rhyme not good or is it just in the wording? Would love more feedback from you. Big hugs, sunny smiles and all my blessings. Lol...I changed my name...last autumn, was it? I like it when people think of me as Ivy, so thank you. =) And I have no idea what happened to ChaosIncarnate, but somehow my name ended up as "Test." I have a strange feeling that somebody hacked my account but allpoetry won't let me change my name for another 20 days or something like that. Oh, well. I'll live with it.

When did you change your name Ivy? I know it's Danni... but I'm afraid you'll always be Ivy to me! So test? no more chaos incarnate?
  • Mozambiquel on April 13, 2006
That is weird...I didn't even notice...

  • DougMcCue on April 13, 2006
its funny how some of your fav books are movies and some of your fave movies were books first...
  • karabi on March 5, 2006
You deserve special thanks for your Los Angeles.
  • Mozambiquel on September 29, 2005
Thanks so much! I love commenting on other's poetry, especially when it's as good as yours. There's no need to return comments unless you really want to and of course I'd appreciate it, but I really just enjoy reading poetry. Scoping out the competition, if you will. Lol.
    :-)

Mmm.. we have VERY similar tastes, Danni. (In movies I mean!) That's not why I came here though. I want to thank you, immensely, for your comments and applause. When I entered that poem under Shameless I hadn't expected such a rave review, not to mention three. I appreciate your adding me, and look forward to your input in the future. I'll try my hardest to return your comments, though I can't say WHEN. Ah, time and I are not good friends. Well, thank you again, and you'll be hearing from me soon!

I think the name Danni is really pretty though. *sigh* Idiots who think life is all about what your name is....
  • Mozambiquel on September 24, 2005
Lol...my pen-name is Ivy. My real name is Danni, though, and I'm tired of being accused of living in a fantasy world by certain people (ahem, assholes) so I've decided to start using my real name. But if you want, you can still call me Ivy. I like that name better, anyway.
    xoxo
~Danni (or Ivy, whichever you prefer)
  • Art of Ignorance on September 24, 2005
Thanks I thought your name was Ivy?
  • EmilyAr on September 22, 2005

Dude, I don't even read that anymore. I haven't edited that part of my profile since...well, since I wrote it. And by "emo" I do mean the entire spectrum of emotion. Music hardly means that much to me anymore.
We're poets; without emotion, we'd be put out of business...lol.

Note to Self: Don't have religious/philosophical/at all intelligent conversations with ignorant, closed-minded children; they'll cry and run to mommy.

    HAHAHAHAH! Agreed.

You're very pretty. Just wanted to drop by your page and check it out.
  • Storic on September 3, 2005
In your biography you state that at the moment you are more interested in writing prose than poetry. Mmmmmmm that's interesting, because, I too am torn between the two.

I find the poetry needs a special 'mode', which seems to come and go with no control over which.

"A misunderstood thinker in hiding"? As 'thinkers' seem to be a rare breed at the moment - why hide - we need you!

in regards to the comment on what more will there be, yea I did mean to have it run together. I was inspired by a song called "Loud, loud, loud" by Aphrodite's Child, I believe they're called on an album entitled "666". Check it if you want . Thanks for commenting.

Greetings, dark philosopher! I can welcome you to AP since I beat you by a few days! This is a fine place to let it all hang out! Glad you liked 'Thunderstorms of My Wandering Mind'! Maybe not my happiest piece by hey, we can't all be happy all the time!
  • bw43 on March 8, 2005
Ivy -- write something new, dammit!!! I want to read your work.
  • StevensS on January 25, 2005
God, I woke up an hour ago feeling like such an asshole becaue of last night. Your poetry is the most beautiful writing I've ever seen (the most beautiful thing I've ever seen next to you), yes I'm saying this even though you'll think I'm full of shit, and it kills me that I made you doubt your writing. What I said wasn't even a criticism yet you let it pierce your heart, and now I feel like shit because I hurt you. You won't need to make a new account on allpoetry to get way from me, you can keep all your old friends, I think I'm pretty much done on allpoetry anyway. God, I love you so much and not only do I have this horrible sinking feeling right now, I really can't stop shaking. I can't wait to see you at school (before the finals I should be studying) to have you smile and convince me I'm not fucking up your life 'cause I really feel like I am.
  • DenverMax on January 14, 2005
Fun talking to you this late at night (twelveish) hope we can talk again. Thanks for giving me the last bit of confidence I needed to give her that poem. As for liking the poetry.... I believe the emo response would be "you can't kill whats already dead"
  • reximer on December 26, 2004
"don't worry I'm already in therapy."

Judging by her self-description, I doubt she'd be worrying, but perhaps you were speaking to the rest of us.
  • Save on December 26, 2004
Hi, you seem kinda negative. I think I'm gonna read your poetry...don't worry I'm already in therapy.

    Claire
  • StevensS on December 25, 2004
yeah, Hi. Also, I love you and no matter when you read this I can't wait to see you... even if I'm with you.
