Thank you for commenting on my new poem....i dont really like it, i was thinking of deleting it...anyways, i am doing really well! things are going great for me and abby...(i think abby is pretty happy) she's probably told you what has been going on here, things are pretty good, alot better than they were bofore! I just wanted to say thanks for everything you have done for me and abby! You have given me so much great advice and it really means alot to me! I was going to IM you, but the little IM buttons aren't working.
I just skimmed through your "The Snow Tunnel" (I will go back and read it all, of course) and I thought to myself Why is everyone obssesed with Christmas lately? I'm obssesed with it, lots of people at school are, lots of friends are, and now early Christmas poems and stories. It's hilarious. But I understand why people are so into it right now.

am looking forward to reading the works of both you and your daughter. i especially enjoy reading (and encouraging)young writers as i spent the last 18 years of my life as an educator. i agree with you in that this site can be a great way for people to open up and interact with others, even if it is via computer. nice to see a mother and daughter both enjoy this venue (and to know there is a parent monitoring - when you read some of the writes, you will understand what i mean by this latter comment). i will be the first to say that some of my writes would not be appropriate for shadow rose (or others of her age) to read!
