Your writing abilities are only starting to blossom, and I know that from experience. I am fifteen too, though believe that my writing will improve as I read the writing of others and let my mind trace the words in my head onto paper, or on to the internet!

Bazza on June 27, 2006If you are sincere about wanting to be a poet, then you can't be lazy and not worry about spelling, punctuation and the other tools used by a good craftsman. A good craftsman never blames his/her tools for bad workmanship. At 15 years old there is no excuse for these things and so to be good at your craft, it is no use making suggestions to excuse your lack of attention in learning them.
You seem to have some basic talent so I suggest that a more determined and disiplined approch is better. The first word you should know in you want to be a writer is to at least know how to spell it. (NOT wrighter.)
Don't be discouraged .... take the hint and be encouraged for you will find many people will reject your work purely on the grounds listed above, and it would be a shame to dampen that enthusiasm you are showing now.
Think about it ... these are my opinons, but offered in good faith without animosity ..... that's for you to work out. I also suggest that a dictionary would be a great asset for when you want to use a word you are not certain of regarding meaning or spelling. Good luck. -
