  • Morgana on August 6, 2004
Well I don't live in Kentucky. I live...somewhere, and you're right, it is overseas. (What made you guess that??)

Michael (in the book) is intelligent, athletic, has dark hair and violet eyes. He's very good looking, and fun to be around. Basically what every girl (and maybe gay guy) dreams about. But fantasies are just that; something not real.

Ooh, by the way, after I finish my contest, I was thinking of promoting one of your poems, the one about the church. Is that all right with you?

Hi I just wanted to let you know that I changed my name from Tammy33 to Dark-Princess
  • on July 31, 2004
Oh, and it's "The Tyger" by William Blake, just so you know.

  • on July 31, 2004
Heh. I like the name Michael, but probably for a different reason than you. (shakes head in mock pity). I would read your poems, but I detest freestyle. Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for being one of the only people who commented on my story (though six people read it). Curse them...

OMG, I noticed on your page that you have the lyrics to Simon & Garfunkel songs. I have loved their music since I was 3 years old. I guess because my mom always listened to them. "The Sound of Silence" has got to be my all time favorite song by them, followed close by "Bridge over Troubled Water". I also love "Mrs. Robinson","The Boxer", and "Cecilia"(that is because Cecelia is my first name--ugh). I couldn't count the times I have sang the words to these songs. There are many, many more to my list of favorites, but I won't go on any more. I just thought it was so cool that you had the lyrics to their music on your page. Hope you have a wonderful day. I will definitely be back to check out more of your work.

  • The CheshireKat on July 29, 2004
i'm a big fan of those songs, too- but some of my particular favorites are I am a Rock, Richard Corey, and Homeward Bound.
  • Rele anmwe on July 28, 2004
Thank you morgan, but I still envy your trophies
  • Morgana on July 28, 2004
Ah, it's not that they don't want you to win ... that's unfair of you; putting the blame on them...

Oh I'm sure you'll pick up a trophy here and there... I wish you the best of luck with it.

Keep in mind, though...I like to win too...

    -morgana
  • Rele anmwe on July 28, 2004
For some reason, no one wants to let me win. but don't worry, the time will come. And I mean sooner than later

  • Morgana on July 24, 2004
Dude I will read them, soon. (maybe lol) I like Silver Eyes, but yeah, Violet Eyes is way betetr. You should read "Angela", this story I wrote. it's about a girl called Angela and a guy called Michael....hmmm wonder where I got those names from, hmm? lol

  • Attic Noise on July 23, 2004
Hehe, go Self-mentor, lol, she deserves to be beaten once in a while (aww I'm kidding lol). Anyway, hola Morgana, just thought I'd drop by and oogle at your trophies (rawr), haha, and see I've you've written anything else. And yep, looks like you've been busy. Another mental block is REALLY pissing me off. I can't seem to write anything but fanfiction at the moment, and it all sounds forced.

Haha, whoops, before I forget, this is me (Nixx). I got a Mod to change my name for me. Anyway, good luck with judging your contest, hope you get some good entries. Oh, and I made the lyrics on my Author Page easier to read (took out the chorus repeats, and got rid of the less poetic songs), haha, so READ THEM! Lol. Ooh, and I got Silver Eyes from the library. I'm nearly finished, and I agree, Violet Eyes was better but this one was pretty good.

Welp, I suppose I'm rambling so see yaz soon ( I miss school )

  • Spear on July 14, 2004
Hey, thanks for the great comment. Not great because it glorifies the write or the writer, but great because it is one of the few that actually has some substance in it. For that, if nothing else, I thank you.
Trilingual, wow. French, English and ?. I'm also tri, but also have some basic understanding of 2 african languages which is where I am currently working.
I love bridge over troubled waters and sound of silence, guess its my age.(39)
    In Peace!

Look forward to reading your work and understanding how that cranium is structured.

How much do I owe you?? (And how exactly do I give points, lol. I've never done it before...)

  • myrataal on July 10, 2004
You owe me points for reading Oblique and not commenting
  • Morgana on July 5, 2004
hola dude. yeah i did something with it. go figure, huh? i love simon and garfunkel's lyrics. they are amazing. go read them!
  • Attic Noise on July 5, 2004
Hola! Wow, you've FINALLY done something with your author page , hehe. Yay! I'm SO on your fave list. to everyone that's NOT, heh, I'm only kidding, but give a sleep deprived girl a break, eh? Anyway, your poetry's coming along nicely. How the hell have you been able to write so MUCH? I've had a mental block for who knows how long?

Anyway, I think I'm gonna check out some of those Simon and Garfunkel lyrics. Not for the reason you think, however, lol. It's because Jade(From AFI, duh!) said his faveourite album at the moment is "The Best of Simon and Garfukel" or something to that effect . You know, if you like good lyrics, check out my author page again. Hehe, I KNOW you don't like AFI, but their stuff is good!

    Wow, this was long, lol.

Thank you for your lovely comment on my poem. I like the way you interpreted it. It always fascinates me how each reader can see things in poetry. Thank you for sharing your vision with me.

  • Rele anmwe on June 9, 2004
Thank you so much for liking this piece. I appreciate it. I hope you have read sweet 21 and Help me grow. In case you didn't, you should at least give them a quick view. I think you will too enjoy them. You won't be wasting your time

    Hi Morgana :-)
I wanted to thank you for the comment you left on my poem "Without Me". It's one of my first real critical comments. I always appreciate compliments, but the constructive criticism you gave was wonderful, and so appreciated. I did change a couple of things in my poem to your suggestions, which were very useful. I will keep them in mind for future poems as well. Thank you so much for your time, and have a great day!
    Take care,
    Sarah Beth

hi morgana...thanks a lot for ur remraks on my poem jewels of the sea. i appreciate ur suggestion on the first line...i guess it does sound better that as i can see the ocean. but i used the word sea not for rhyme but for a kind of alliterative effect, the long syllables of each of the words extended the line. but thanx again for ur comment and ur encouragement.

    Hi there Morgana!

I would like to welcome you to Allpoetry. This is a wonderful place to share your writing with others, and to enjoy the variety of works posted here by those who share in your love of poetic expression. Allpoetry is an interactive community, which means you should comment on 4 poems for every 1 you post. The more poems you read and leave a comment on, the more your name will be seen and the more people will want to read your work.
Help - The Help link will give you more information about the site. It is an excellent page to stop at, and will answer most of your basic questions. If you have any questions about the Help page, or the AP Policy, allpoetry.com/special/policies , you can ask any of us for help. The Moderators are highlighted in blue, while Site Greeters are in green. Although a membership is not required in order to post poems or comment, it does make the AP experience a bit more exciting. Further details are in the Store link at the top of the page.
Contests - Each month the Site Greeters host a contest for new poets, and allpoetry.com/contest/517241 is the one for March. At the top of the screen you will notice a Contests link, where different AP poet-hosted challenges will help inspire your creative talents, and allpoetry.com/Column/307514 is an interesting column that describes contests and how they are judged.
