Ok, so I know your birthday is technically in an hour and a half MY time, but it's already your birthday YOUR time, so HAPPY 19TH! I have your presents still . It seems I did not get them shipped early like I'd hoped. Oh well, it will be worth the wait. I hope to have it out by the weekend . Have a good day, hon!
    ♥ Syd

It's OK hun I completely understand - I'm looking foreward to talking to you more often again, but I honestly understand you're busy. Doesn't mean I'll shut up, though 'cause I don't ever want you to forget I'm your friend and you can count on me!
  • YesterdaysFeelings on August 2, 2005
Hey Nell, thanks so much for the comment on my page. I know I can talk to you about anything. Sorry I haven't been as social as I was. I've been stressed and busy trying to prepare for college and what not. When I get settled down I will definitely liven up a bit! Syd
  • Morgaine on June 13, 2005
you are very much welcome! I'm glad you feel better!
  • Eros Ikhnos on May 27, 2005
A appreciate the comment you made on my poem. I have moved on from it. That poem was simply a result of my temporary weakness. But I have come to know the more beautiful things now that I have stopped stressing and would love to take that poem off my page now, because to me it just makes me look like a whining baby. Lol But I am really not. Thanks a lot for the comment, you are a very wise woman. *hugs*

Dido is an amazing artist! Especially her 'new' album "Life for rent" is amazing! And Sheryl is my ultimate rolemodel; she's free and honest and talented. I'm going to read some of your work, too! Morgaine
  • Whispers79 on April 10, 2005
Can't wait to read some of your poetry.....I can see we share a deep love of the same music.....I reconized your song lyrics by just the first few lines....I am stuck on Dido at the moment, learning to play guitar.....I adore the song I shall believe by Cheryl Crow.....and Sand in my Shoes by Dido....anywho...

I couldn't agree with you more!!
  • Morgaine on April 9, 2005
Thank you for your kindness! I assume you've had your share of religious debate *sighs*... it really has no point. I really respect Christianity a great deal! My parents are Christians, I went to a Christian primary school and in my opinion our entire western society is built upon Christianity - it's a very important religion! It's a beautiful one, too. There's a lot of pagans who don't feel that way, and they use the 'burning times' or being 'told they would burn forever because they worship satan by Christians' as an excuse; I say all religions have nut cases, pagans just as much as Christians! Michelle Branch's music means a lot to me, I really recognise a lot in her lyrics. And as for Orlando Bloom - are there any words for that ?

From reading your author's page, I can see we have alot in common...we both like Michelle Branch and love Orlando Bloom And out of the 5 things you like, the only one I don't like is Buffy. And I see you're into Pagan stuff...I'm Christian but the Wicca religon really interests me.
  • Morgaine on April 3, 2005

    Sonnet XVIII Bis

Shall I Compare Thee ? In What Galaxy ?

S hall aught compare her ? In what galaxy,
A nd when and where, which mirror could reflect
N ature's beauty with such talents decked ?
G ainsaying self, Time holds all time in fee !
T elescopes in vain seek other sun
O nly half as bright, whose timeless joy,
M ight Big Bang justify, all it begun.
O ne would exchange his world for her employ.
R espond tender name that’s “all in one”.
G rows end, beginning, root, shoot, fruit and tree,
A s Future passed, coeval - past, to be !
I nside and out, earth, sea, both butter, bun.
N ow worlds apart from all, all praise she wins
E ternity in orbit round her spins.

    Sonnet XVIII

    S hall I compare her to a summer's day ?
A thousand times more sweet she seems to me !
N or can Time's winds - (which darling buds of May
    G usts shake) - unsettle love's eternity.
T oo strained the eye of heaven sometimes seems,
O r sends a storm, or sometimes shines too hot,
M ortal lifespans melt, each seems like dreams
O ne season soon declines, returning not !
R aise mortal wings in need of new designs
G reet poet framing praises in fair verse,
A s promised life when all else, the reverse,
I mprints for Future no such lyric lines.
N ot for her song the shadow-land of Death
E arth, Mars, spin round her sun, while Man draws breath

Sheryl Crow, Beatles, Dido, celtic music, Michelle Branch, Bon Jovi, Madonna, Norah Jones, Sting, Stevie Nicks, Joni Mitchell, some of my all-time favorites as well. Add Hendrix and Zeppelin and you will find me there. Natasha Bedingfield sounds like an interesting artist. I enjoy playing a Les Paul myself.
    I like your style, girl!

Arthur dies, Morgaine takes him to Avalon... oh and Mordred dies as well. Guinevere ends up dying in some convent and Lancelot dies in the same battle as Arthur and Mordred... annnnd.... Avalon disappears in the mists. Pretty sad huh?

Hey Morgaine. Thanks for the comment on my poem and I would like to extend a late welcome to AP. I will cruse through some of your poems and I hope you find a reason to keep writeing.
  • Morgaine on December 24, 2003
Thanks to everyone for reacting so nicely! I've learned to love my own work; as if they are my babies. "The Slayer" is the only poem I feel doesn't really need to excist, but I'm trying on a competition here, so I'll just let it be until after. I'm extremely proud of "Darkness Overtakes" and "Difference". Thank you all, again! Blessed be!

Thank you for your comments and leaving a message in my guestbook! I definitely wanted to return the favor. I'm glad that you were able to come out the depression pit as soon as you did, and notice just how precious your life truly is. You are a talented and gifted person. And I want to encourage you to keep on writing. ~Take care and may you forever grow~
