So I'm not angry any more (not that I was ever angry at you, jynx). I got 3x as many good reviews as I did bad reviews. And the bad reviews spurred me to do some editing, and I'm happier with the poem, now. So, thank you.

Grrr. Okay, now I'm angry. Have you any idea the kind of bs I took because you wanted to go and promote my poem? I was actually graded! My poem was GRADED! A C, by the way. Yep. It seems people either love it or hate it. Apparently, I'm too smart for my readers, yet I also use my words incorrectly. Yep. I'm pissed off, little man.

All right, Mr. jynx. You can keep your points to yourself.

    I'm happy enough.

Guess who shares a birthday with Scotland's most famous poet, Robert Burns? You do! As well as Alicia Keys and Virginia Woolf. Congrats! All I got is Reese Witherspoon and William Shatner (though, Bill's cool, I guess).

(they need a Happy Birthday emoticon)

Here's a little surprise for when you log in. The smileys. I wish gmail would do smileys. Anyway... I posted the story. It's ugh.. it's different. I don't think I did it right, speaking on cultural issues and all. I also think it might need a different title. What do you think? I kind of like "49ers" because calls to mind the gold rushers of '49, but also the football team (which I don't like). I don't know.

Have you ever tried limericks? I've only written one, myself. I can't stand writing form poetry. Even those little senryu I did killed me. Have you tried senryu? Perhaps you could write a string of senryu based on your experience in the Marine Corps. That'd be cool.

Yeah. I know you can't respond to this message. I'm just taking up room on your page. I want to monopolize your page, and kick leannewales off. And if anyone ever visits your page (for whatever reason) they'll see how important I think you are and will read your poem, maybe even glance at "Deserted." Have you thought of splitting it up into chapters on this site? It doesn't matter. Writing.Com's better for story reviews, anyway.

Did you ever hear from your stalker again?

Oh, and don't forget to remind me that there's something I want to ask you. I don't just want to ask it and that be it; I'd rather it be part of a reply. So... I've been meaning to ask you something. Okay. Curious?

And a happy summertime to you! I'm so sorry I haven't been around much lately, but I'm out of town on business for a few weeks, and I don't get much internet time. I see you've been busy with Bells and Footfalls and a few others, and I promise to give your port all the attention it deserves just as soon as I get back.

    Cheers,

Long time no read! I'm doing well, thank you, though the past few months have really been a whirlwind for me. I haven't had much time to do any reading or writing per se (I've been stagnant for almost a YEAR now). When all is said and done, I don't think I'm really COMPELLED to write the way you seem to be, for me the process is more akin to pulling teeth. Nevertheless, I do occasionally find time to peck at a sequel to 'Deserted' and a few other projects, but I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.

I hope things are going well for you, with college or lack thereof . . . higher education wasn't in my cards either, you know. Best of luck with everything.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by. I'll be stopping by your port here when I get a chance.

    Warm regards,
    -jynx

Heya. Just wanted to drop in and say hello. I don't know if you login anymore, but who knows? I hope things are well in CA and over at Writing.Com. I think if you've written anything new, you should inform me (I keep a dead account over there), but the last time I checked you were the same.

Anyway... (when you get this) I hope you have a wonderful week.
