You are right, having a child is a huge responsibility. but you also know that sex is a huge responsibility too? And we must take care of our bodies and keep our bodies safe? If you made the conscience choice to open those legs love, you should deal with the outcome.

You're wrong. An abortion will always leave an empty space in you and someday you may look back and regret what you had done, but... look, i respect your views, i think it wonderful that you are striving for a better world where everyone is loved and happy and there is harmony and all that but the world is not perfect and just because you see it as murder does not mean that everyone does. If God has a plan for everyone maybe his plan is for someone to get an abortion. How can you know? I am not meant to have a child right now, I would love to hear the sound of little feet running up to me and the sound of an adorable child yelling "Mommie" happily but I know that there are more important things in my life right now and i need to follow my dreams first. I would never forgive myself if anything happened to my child and having him right now would have been too hard on me. I would have had to give him away and I might never get to see him again. And i know you would say that at least he would have a happy life and all that but i know what it's like to be in that position and I would rather have never been born than to have known that I was such a burden to my mother, than to know the dreams that I stole away from her. And there is no gaurentee that my child would have had a good life. I have been through horrors that you can't even imagine and I never want anyone to have go through that or just to witness it. The world is not safe when you are that young and that alone, by baby is safe up in heaven, he is loved. And if that means that I will go to hell than so be it, at least he will be safe for the rest of eternity... that's all that matters.

Misty Melody, to tell them it is murder is condemning. You are not a good Christian if you don't listen to other people's points of views and respect them. Did he tell you your ideas were bogus? no. so don't tell him his ideas are. please do not call yourself a Christian if you cannot accept others. Read James chapter 4 verse 11 and 12. ok well thanks again bye.

My God tells me I must stand up against abortion. I am not condemning them but I am telling them the act is murder. Plain and simple. Murder is Murder. Liberal Poet says that he never sees positive responses by a woman who has had an abortion, only the negavtive ones. That is probably because there is no positive to abortion. And when that woman feels her child being ripped apart from her body she knows she has done wrong.

I am not comdemning or hateful I am stating my belief. And I am just as entitled to that as you are to write your views. I also have the right to comment on any poem that I choose just like you choose to comment on mine. My belief is that abortion is murder. It is the killing of an unborn child. If that disagrees with you then we will just have to agree to disagree. You will NOT change my mind. Melody

Look, I realize you're a radical right to lifer and you have the right to your views, but please don't go into my contest and harrass the contestants who are in it. I ask only that somebody who talks about love and kindness and friendship would not be so hateful and condemning and specifically on several people who submitted work in my contest. All I ask is that although you do disagree you could try and be less uncivilized and hateful towards those putting their works in my contest, Thanks. ~ Aaron
