Sweetie I wish I could give you a great big hug and tell you how great you are. You are one of the best younger poets on here. You see things clearer then most your age. I know from personal experence that you will get over him. And you will learn from this and grow into an even better person because of it. (I tried to send you a message, but I was unable to do so. Thus, I am sorry, but I am forced to post my message here.)

I am sorry that you were hurt by my removing your entry from my contest "I Am Woman, Hear Me Roar!". The goal of my contest is to receive entries that contain morals that the little girls on my street could learn from, and I simply did not think your poem contained any that I thought were appropriate for children, nor did I, personally, agree with the messages you were sending across. Personally, I was offended as a woman: I do not want to be known for my sexuality at all. I work hard to be a well-educated and decent person, and I do not want to be simply seen as a sexy female.

Again, I apologize that you were hurt and disappointed. Especially since you truly did not want the poem to come across the way that it did. I am also sorry that you do not think you will enter again, but I hope you change your mind!
