  • Freed by Mercy : Monster! on February 25, 2008
Another delightfully rich story spun from the chronicles of Diane. I so enjoy these writes. Love the detailed descriptions of the HAT, the boots (I remember boot baggies and cardboard cut out to the shape of our shoes), the classroom and coatrack. You write it all as if it happened yesterday. I can smell a book baking...
  • Freed by Mercy : To my wonderful friend with warm hugs on February 10, 2008
  • Freed by Mercy : Gotcher Goat? on January 25, 2008
Can you ever narrate a story! Another hilarious adventure! I laughed out loud at the "hairy teat"
episode! Such rich detail so crisply written.
Just wonderful! You have to write more of these and publish.

Was the goat's milk for the same brother who had the pet pig? Tim drank goat's milk for a while. For a few years there, I though cow's milk products were evil. So what does Tim like most of all? Mac and cheese, chips and cheese, egg nog...

Now Bill uses rice milk for his coffee and cereal.

Judgement Day is hilarious! You're spot on with the "Mountain Dew", regular or code red. Mountain Dew Game Fuel was on the market for a limited time. Some gamers hoarded it when it came out. I was buying a 12 pack a week of it. Tim is big into final fantasy on his PC. I think the PC if powerful enough may be the preferred way to play nowadays. He plays RPG's (in our basement, of course!) Chips and cheese (from a jar), chocolate, and peppered beef jerky are preferred food sources. Personal hygiene is important to him. He take two showers a day, one is quite long.

You even used NOOB! Way to go, girl! I got Time a hoodie which states "I eat noobs" with a monster eating a noob. I have to return it because it's "too loud".
His new favorit Tee shirt? "I'm only here because my server is down" Hoodie? "Carpe Noctem", "Seize the Night".
Hoodies, tee shirt, and jeans are his "uniform".
Prefers understated colors for tops (Black, gray, dark blue) and small graphics.

Just thought you might be able to use some of this info.

    Funny, funny, funny!

Bill pulled the cord on his monitor last night. Another LATE night of homework. Was ready to strangle him.
  • Tam : Happy Christmas Eve beautiful lady! on December 24, 2007

    Tammy
  • waydownuponjoy : I was instantly on December 5, 2007
... reminded of "Iris Murdock" when I read of your love with words in your introduction. I just finished seeing that DVD and found her to be such an vibrant woman who was defeated in the end, so sad ... I think that it's fantastic to see that you are so motivated by words and willing to share them as well! joy

Thank you for commenting my poem. See, I enter the contest with writter's block most of the time, then it hits me. I kinda wrote it on the spot, quick-like, wich causes me to make mistakes. I only get a certain amount of time to get on the computer and write a poem. Again, thank you for your comment.
  • Freed by Mercy on November 28, 2007
I just read your story "A Woman's Work" at Storywrite. It was HILARIOUS! What a great write. satirical and yet a bit sad also. Bravo for you! You should submit this for publishing. It's really that good.

  • Freed by Mercy : To my dear friend Diane on October 5, 2007
    Hugs on this October Day!

  • Frodofan on October 1, 2007
I love learning new words. If you don't know it already, I think you'd appreciate the word "Schadenfreude." It's a fun one.
  • Astrotriz on May 26, 2007
Congratulations on your trophy! I never message winners, but in this case, I had to. I was discussing the winners with a friend, and thought I'd share my opinion on the contest with the winners:

    "Astrotriz says:
They prove that simplicity is a wonderful thing when it's done in a clever way and with sincerity. So many people tried too hard, and tried to stuff lots of fake emotions into their writing, and these people gave me something simple that was really touching. That's key to a wonderful poem."

    Thanks again for your piece!
