. Anyway I think you are mistaking me for a character in a fictional novel. That Lestat was based on me and the author softened him up far too much. (lol, the 'character' that I play with this sn is only loosely based on Rice's char, lol, I don't take it THAT seriously. Besides I don't like Anne Rice, I just like her character Lestat.) -

I'm a bit sadend... lol I love the movie, and the book, "The Vampire Lestat" is probably the greatest book Anne Rice ever wrote.

Minstrel Knight on July 21, 2006I'm sorry, did I do something to offend or insult you? If I did I'm sure I didn't mean to. I'm just trying to figure out where this attack is coming from. I chose my name because I like the character Lestat. I know it's not original... but I don't really care. I just find it fun to play a character that I admire so and I'm not generally that serious with it anyways. The name I came up with is just a name either way. I find it odd that you have nothing better to do than look around for people with names you don't like and poke fun at them? You don't know me or anything about me so why go and call me pathetic? It's just a way to have a little fun is all. You can call it immature if you want but I don't care. I like it and you're the first person with an objection to it. As I'm writing this though, I'm realizing that this is probably worthless since you seem to have such a sour disposition that no words of reason will make any impact on you. I will not be responding to any further insults or anger. If you have anything inteligent to say that's not just bashing on something so trivial as a name then maybe I'll listen.

quite pathetic really, i mean why come up with a name thats already been used? i wouldnt go and call myself Claudia the vampire or Louis the vampire.....or Marius the vampire even...... thats just dumb...... and not very original.. and why portray urself to be someone who is a fictional character?

Minstrel Knight on July 11, 2006Well God created Lucifer, but God can only create a being he can't control it from then on. Lucifer didn't originally think "I want to be evil", he's just seen that way, which is what most people think and it's an idea that Christianity encourages. All that seed of evil crap is a lie. If you don't believe me look it up, but Lucifer never wanted to be "evil" per se, he simply became the brightest and most powerful angel, brighter even than God, such that he started to think 'Hey, who's this God guy to claim all the power and glory? Why not me?' So he rebelled and gathered up other angels who felt the same way and started a war against god. He lost and got cast down to hell and as result Lucifer decided that he'd create his own kingdom in hell and out of spite for God he'd do everything the opposite of what God said was right, so it's not really evil, just spite. Thus the Devil and Demons were born. Anyways, that's my lecture on Christianity, lol. I'm glad you like my poetry so much and to be honest I'm not a huge fan of Anne Rice, I just like her character Lestat, but anyways, I entered a poem into your Good/Evil Contest, hope you enjoy.

I love the fact that the ying yang stands with that meaning because if you look at christianity - God created Lucifer - right?! well if God was so good and awesome and there was nothing bad and wrong then where did the seed of evil come from - or was it so evil that God overlooked it... didnt think so! anyways before i go on an entire lecture - sitting at work doing night shift, thankyou for your comment and would appreciate an entry i have read some of your work; and well if you wouldnt mind i would love to add you as a favourite, the rythm in your work is exceptional and the way it flows; speaks the tongues of a true poet.
Oh and p.s. I LOVE THE NICKNAME!!!!!

I must commend you for your love of Lestat quotes. I share a similar passion. I'm not 'obsessed' I swear it. lol I also liked what I read. I was wiccan for a while, and also followed Celtic Paganism for a long time. It's quite a relief compared to christianity in my point of view. Well, see you around.
