I really appreciated the wonderful comments you left on one of my pieces. You are an extremely wonderful person. I read quite a few of your poems but couldn't seem to pick one that stood apart from the rest. They were all so amazing. It's unbelieveable how much talent you really have. I wish you well in everything your heart desires to do. I know that you were meant to succeed in this life. It's just this feeling I have that is really unexplainable. Good luck to you.

I'm sorry you didn't like the poem, but to each his own.Apparently I offended you with my fictional work.
But if my memory serves correct alot of good poems are written from a fictional view point, for example the classic"Paradise Lost"was obviously a work of fiction, yet people didn't go around telling him(John Milton) it wasn't good because it wasn't real. However again I apologize for offending you.

"and I'm almost 5'2. I have no more hope in growing."
Fear not what you won't become but rather focus on what you can.
Never be envious of others for all have their own sets of trials.
Just seek to be the best you that you can be and let the world
take it or leave it for that is the key to happiness...

My favourite poem is She walks in Beauty as well. Kudos to you.
And thanks for your comment on my rather lengthily titled poem.

Never apologise for writing poetry. Always apologise for not writing enough or without passion, reflection, and thought. Make every word count just like every word counts when it hurts or makes you laugh.

I live in lower LP, almost Indiana... it's sweltering out. I don't dare venture to the outdoors. Rather be cradled in my AC.

I read your author's page very intently, and I feel the pain you feel. As a child my moyther was totally into my younger sister, and I was the black sheep of the family, because I was so rebellious!I have a column on all philosophy for teens to air their problems and if you care to share anything that bothers you, I will check every day and answer asap.I am an AP mom to many teens here, and I hope you will include me as I would love to adopt you too! Now on to read your poetry!

Okay then. Thank you for taking time on trying to console me and trying to bring me out of my self-hatred and of others.

    Hello again Miji,
I had a rough child-hood and life turned out even worse later on. But in time I had to realize that if I did not change myself, how could I expect others to want to help or even wish to be around me? I am sure that the pain these people have inflicted on you have caused you to scar deeply. We need to dwell not on what they did to us, which can never be changed and is the PAST!
But live in the FUTURE where happiness CAN be found, is where you can learn to help your little sister, that WILL NEED your help with her future.
As for the man that inflicted the kind of harm that I think you are referring to, he will one day get his own, thses kind always do! But, for you to fill your heart with hate, will only reap misery on you further,as I already mentioned. I know about insanity with an ex, trust me on this and I know about death and a few other subjects which I will not venture into.
Please listen to these words and even to the point of seeking God, if that is something that you feel that you can do. I wish you well, take care and God bless! -Ken

The reason why I cannot take my anger out on the people who harm me the most is because I have no contact with them. My mother lives 1,000 miles away and I have a no-contact order with the other one. I hate him most of all, especially what he did to me, because now I will never be able to get over it or have a normal relationship with a man.

o.o Yeah... but my sister annoys me, I'm not really taking anger out on her. It's just my own way of teasing her... I just have a bit of a different way... rather than going, "Na-na-na-na-NA-na, I've got you're doll", I came up with a different way to tease her... besides, I did this to her when I was 10.

As for my stepmother, she drives me insane with her hypocrisy. Mixing syrup with water is my way of revenge. Sorry if it seems anger-inflicted.

As far as opening up minds Miji, often it is us whom is in need to open up. It is NOT what we can give to others, but what we can learn from them. We all experience pain and hardships, ALL of us. But if we do not grow up, we will simply wallow in our own self-pity forever ALONE. We will doom anything good that should ever touch us, as a poisoned apple they might bite? The whole world is not against us, it is US against the world.
In time I do hope that you heal, I truly do! But taking your anger out on others whom would never harmed or wished to harm you speaks very poorly of your character and intellect! We are and of whom we wish to be, so we truly do control our own destiny. Again in the end the choice and the outcome is OUR OWN making! -Cisco
