For some reason the site kept giving me that "error 500" crap when I tried to click on your page. I wanted to see how you were doing, what kind of plans you were going to have for the holidays. Finals week is next week for me (ugh) but I think it will be a breeze this go round--at least, that's what I'm hoping!
I wanted to tell you that I am finally teaching those vocabulary classes! I need to put up some more assignments soon because one of my students is (literally) flying through the class!
It has, so far, been a success. I'm also teaching a form in "Etheree Experiments". Check it out whenever you have time or if you still have interest.
Oh, and I read your new contest, too. I don't really have much in the way of experience to draw on as far as writing, but I will see if I can help out in any way. I might just have to send you some points for your awards or something.
And, by the way: I am officially an "old maid" (24) today.

I still haven't decided yet whether I am going to leave AP or not. Probably not permanently, but I might take a break soon. I am planning on getting myself an acoustic guitar for my birthday (which is in about six weeks), provided I can find one that's affordable. I don't mind it being used. Then I could really get some practice in. As for the piano, I only have a chance to play when I am at my mother's apartment, which is not often these days as the manager there seems to hate my guts.
Well, that is her problem, but still. I try to hash out melodies when I can. I am hoping I get something recorded before school is out for the year in the spring.
I need to write some more lyrics. Except there aren't any lyrics contests going on. And I'm still in a writer's block.
I'm still struggling in business but I'm sure things will look up after Thanksgiving. By the way, I have been making jewelry in the meanwhile. Let me know if you want to see the site. I'll send you the link.

Yeah, I'm trying to get my otherwise comatose muse to cooperate with me these days...basically just entering contests when invited or inspired. I've pulled in a new silver yesterday, a bronze the day before and a gold before that. My trophy case is growing! And I may be on the teacher's board before long for a vocab/sensory image class. We'll see what happens with that.
I hadn't stopped writing, I have just been under a lot of stress that has harrowed my nerves.

I have a cold I'm still not over, because I've spent half of the last five nights coughing myself nearly to death. I thought my lung was going to come up or something! I don't plan to stay on AP too much longer anyway, but I'll tell you my reasons some other time. If you just want me as a contestant on AP Idol, I'll do it, but I'm warning you that I haven't conquered my writer's block yet, so anything you see nowadays probably won't be anywhere near 'my best'
