  • jaunty pill on May 8, 2006

    Hello there.

If you are interested in coming back to " the elitists "...We would love to allow members who have left to come back in. We are trying to get the place moving again and weed the people back some. Maybe you could offer opinions towards the group. You are one of the ones that we think would also benefit from still being there. If not , That's fine as well.

If you would like to become a part of it again , Please IM me and I can just re-check your name in the application. No point in putting in a new application , Etc.

    Take care

extend my commenting on other writers , Such as
    yourself.

    allpoetry.com/contest/1932350

    Thanks for your time .
    James

P.S. If you would not like your name

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on October 1, 2005

  • Phoebe on July 4, 2005
    Haha okay bye bye!
There's more bands I'll have to see before I'm completely and utterly able to die happy. But ah well. Manics is woah.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on July 4, 2005
I'd be dying more than reasonably happily if I'd seen the manics!!
As it happens, I'll be dying ecstaticly happy, considering all the people I've been very, very lucky to see live.. but I won't start bragging again, seen as I have to go now, byeeee!

    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on July 4, 2005
Ha, yeah I will definently see them before I die. Or they die. Or whatever.
The only worthwhile band I've ever ever seen is the Manics.
I have seen HIM and CKY and quite a collection of local bands live. But I don't speak of those experiences. But that's okay, I've seen the Manics. I can now die reasonably happy.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on July 4, 2005
Yup! T in the park too..
Aaw, but you have seen some pretty good bands though!! Manic Street Preachers.. who else? I'm sorry, I forget.. you did tell me..
I'm sure they will tour again soon! they seem to do quite a lot of touring, and they were enjoying themselves sooo much onstage... they'll be back, and this time you'll get to see them too.

  • Phoebe on July 4, 2005
    TWICE?~~?!?@!#?!@?!@/@!?
That's so unfair. I've seen them none and you've seen them twice.
Stupid Neds. They take tickets that could very well be used for people who actually give more than two shits about REM. Stress. REM better tour again soon.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on July 4, 2005
I saw them at Loch Lommond.. not the best of venues, seen as it was full of Neds who were just there to drink expensive beer, and didn't give two shits about REM.. but I'm not complaining! I got to see REM!!!! (twice )

    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on July 4, 2005
    GSHGAEHYIFBIGEAWIOY WHATTTTTTTTTT
Ohhh you all suckkk that's so unfair. I'm so jealous.. Where did you see them?

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on July 4, 2005
    Lucky Bella!
I saw them on the 18th, and they were immense!! I was right at the very front, and Michael winked at me!!!!
They were soo good though! Best night of my life? most probably
    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on July 4, 2005
    Yes yes REM are beautiful.
My friend, Bella, (Poppycocteau is her screen name on here) is seeing them this Wednesday, I think, and I am insanely jealous. Tisk.

Hehe, no problemo love! Sorry I took a while to get back to you. Don't worry about the name thing, I'm impressed you remember now that it's Hannah!
Hope the knee op. all goes well, and that's it's not too painful and that you get better soon and all that!

  • crisstiena on July 4, 2005
Firstly, thank you for you always awesome comments. Second [my turn to blush now ] I know your name is Hannah but prefer Mellor. I had just been talking to masterblaster [Di] and had that name on the brain. Sorry.
Anyway, I promise promise promise to get to your work soon. I am having a knee op. in the next week or so, but as soon as i am fit I will be here, keyboard poised and brain all set to be amazed. Until then, thanks again.

hey great to see another Clash fan on here! rock on...to be honest...before I joined this site I never knew any people who were obsessed with Joe...but I've already met 3 people including you that sound like die hards...thats pretty cool...he was/is def the man
  • Mellor on June 4, 2005
hehe yeah! It's there cause of the lovely Joe.. you're so lucky! I'd love to have Mellor as my real last name.. therefore you are awesome!
    Mellor x
  • birdwitted on June 4, 2005
Your username is my last name and Joe Strummer's real surname.. Therefore you are awesome. Ha ha.
  • Phoebe on June 3, 2005
Eh. I don't know. Dear Heather just didn't have as much...blah. I don't know. I just preferred his older stuff. His first few albums were always my favorites. Before his voice got all husky and such. Yeah, that is an interesting thought that it's him saying goodbye. That would be sad. He is getting quite old, so I wouldn't be suprised.
-flings heavy object- Maha. Kidding. I think I agree with you about the Manics. Lifeblood really wasn't their greatest. And their new EP which they're just released, God Save the Manics, wasn't that great either. Of course, they were always at their best with Richey and their first three albums were masterpieces. Nicky's not the lyrical genius Richey was. -garbles-
I know. I think it's 46. It might be something else. Anyway, I only know because my little friend was having nervous breakdowns. Maha.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on June 3, 2005
Dear Heather? I think it's a great album! Deffinately a change from Cohen's normal, but still interesting and so warm! I've had long discussions about it with my mother... it sounds to us like it's him saying goodbye, what with him telling the women to look at him "one last time" and there just seems a.. finality to the whole thing. I hope so much it's not him finishing!!
Hmm.. Manics.. to be honest, I didn't enjoy their more recent stuff so much anyway. I don't know an awful lot about them, but it seems to me as though they'd finished writing their best. I imagine you'll be disagreeing with me and flinging a heavy object my way perhaps I just haven't given their most recent stuff enough of a listen..
46? what a random age.. eek! I hope he doesn't take it too seriously and start dying on us or anything

    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on June 3, 2005
Yeah yeah London Calling is absolutely brilliant, I love that album. I haven't got REM's new album, but I've heard from quite a few people now that it's not worth the listen. Pity. Morrissey's another, apparantly (according to my obsessive friend) he doesn't plan to live past 46 or something, and he'll be 46 or something this year. Manics are on a break. Placebo are on a break. Cohen's newest album wasn't really all that great either. What is the world coming to!
I haven't heard of Alabama 3 but they do sound quite interesting. I will check them out when I get the chance.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on June 3, 2005
I know I'm lucky and I don't blame you for being jealous
I do find myself listening to his solo stuff more often than The Clash, but London Calling.. not much beats that album for me, and I know it's not that original or immensely well played or anything, there's just something about it.. !
I know what you mean about the split/dead bands. And the ones that are still around that are good are all becoming worse! REM their new album's shite.
I was at an Alabama 3 gig at the weekend, I'm not sure if you'll have heard of them.. but they're worth a listen. Pretty experimental, you could say (a cross between country, dance and gospel music, or in the words of the Reverand D.Wayne Love - one of the singers - "Sweet, god damn pretty motherfuckin' country acid house music" ). One of the few bands I like that are recent, you'll either hate them or love them.

    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on June 3, 2005
Oh you're so so so luckyyyyy! I do love his solo stuff, I think probably more than The Clash. It's so experimental and original and such.
I'm so jealous that you saw them live. Pretty much all the good bands have split or died. Dammit.

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on June 3, 2005
Haha, the Mescaleroes Yeah, I love his solo stuff! At first I was a little unsure, but then I saw him at T in the Park with them and abosolutely adored every second of it. What about you?

    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on June 3, 2005
Haahaha oh I seeeeeeee. All cleared up now

He was indeed. Are you a fan of his solo stuff? Joe Strummer and the Msdghjgsaehlkgahlk thingy?

    Phoebe
  • Mellor on June 3, 2005
hehe, I'm Zimmerman AND Mellor. I planned on just geting Zimmerman to put all my crap poems on, but ended up getting all confused and now I just use both, depending how I'm feeling. (I just commented on myself there ^^ to give me an easy link from one to the next, and cause I'm sad) Sorry to have confused you
and yes, Joe Strummer is very, very beautiful.. or at least, was..
    Mellor x
  • Phoebe on June 3, 2005
Woah, woah...I'm so confused. Are you Zimmerman AND Mellor? Or just Mellor and Zimmerman's someone else? Or is Mellor someone else and Zimmerman's now Mellor?

    Nonetheless, Joe Strummer is beautiful.

    Phoebe
  • Zimmerman on May 22, 2005
You're not as cool as Joe Strummer.

We remember you called us clusters,
    said we're not singular
rather circular: two sickles, three suckers
    and all kindsa what-nots
    Said that gives us mystery.
    Mystery, you said.

You always were one to hide
  • Paper Muse on April 17, 2005
Hello, Thanks so much for the beautiful welcome. I'll make sure I read your work too.

Photography is a new project I'm pursuing - I tend to have about 1000 different hobbies on the go at once. I get bored so easily sigh.
  • Mellor on April 16, 2005

    Thank you
My hair's actually all over pink now, just died it about a week ago!
It's strange, you know how you kindof have an image in your head of what some of the people on here look like? I feel certain you're identical to a girl in the year below me at school, haha
And thank you so much for the comment, it meant a lot, especially coming from someone who's talent I am sickeningly jealous of and I see you have a new poem up! Intriquing name.. I'll go read it just as soon as I've replied to a couple of other people.

    Mellor x

Wowow. I really love your new author page. Your hair is amazing. I've been meaning to comment on your new ones, but keep forgetting. I will now, though.

you cannot know, I don't think, but maybe you can--
how so much your comments mean to me.
I read you and I get shivers thinking, "She sees what I write as Poetry? She thinks, believes I can write?! that sort of thing, as... your work, at last have gotten to read a tad bit more..and you honestly Hannah, Honestly stun me into wondering what it is that I do that, well...I see Your Work and I am freaking Humbled...
Damn, I ...You make me believe in what I am doing, whether I think of much of it as Poetry or not...
Oh, I Love You, You are so Gifted and I am blessed and raw....
    Thank You, Hannah!

Wooo! Same here - Thursday's the last day of school! Yipee! Woopah! Hooray! Hoorah! Urgh, got a big nasty craft and design project to finish before then though...
Och, and well, yes, perhaps I am THE most talented lyricist, behind Lennie o'course, but I can't go taking credit for "I don't like Mondays" by Boomtown Rats!

And yes, the most inspiringest for sure, but gonna have to reconsider the 'young' part.. he must be coming up for 70, easily?
    What-oh what? what?

Hahaha yes. Mondays...strange things.... Evil things. At least I only have until Thursday, then spring break (wooo!)
That was a great little song you had there. You really are a talented lyricist.
Tally-ho, pip pip, the most inspiringest of the inspiring young chappies indeed. What-oh what! hahaha. Badadum.
