Since it's been a long time I've been to this place
Take care as I hope to see you soon again
Hope you will find some rain my friend
-
Ted E Bare on March 31, 2008That was so impressive on what you said for your rain application. Then I know you woul be a great wife to someone someday as I bet you would enjoy riding in a convertible while it's raining. It's such a wild feeling.

Wesley Storer : Wesley Storer Poem on September 7, 2007How happy I was to see you read my grave robber poem and sympathize with its poor victim. Did it create some pathos for you? Then I succeeded! Now i'll read one of your lovelies I'm sure. Best Wishes!
-
DennisP1 on March 4, 2006While it would be good to know more about you on your author's page, I would hate to see all those wonderful quotes removed. Perhaps a little about your hopes, dreams and sorrows. At least I learned your 19, a collage student from Texas and are in love. Is there more to know? lol

Marcy Anna on March 1, 2006I agree!

Wesley Storer on October 20, 2005In reply to your query on "Rainbow Stairway", I
offer the following, in hopes it might help
clear the murky waters of historical distortions.
John Chapt. 1 vs.! "In the
beginning was the word, and the
word was with God, and the word
was God.") Have you ever wondered
why something somebody said can
come back to haunt you and make
you sad again? Or how some words
can make us really happy! LIke you
have just won the 10 million dollar
lottery!? Have you ever wondered
why so many people in the world
learn to speak English? It is not a
romance language like French or
Spanish, or Portugese. Have you
ever ask yourself why things are the
way they are,or why the English
got so mad when the Colonists
dumped a little of their tea in the
harbor? -

ToDream1177 on May 24, 2005Thank you for understanding my poem. It feels good to know that there is someone out there that can relate to me on something like that! WOW...It hurts when he will look at me and he wont tell me what he is thinking. It makes me upset. But maybe this year since I am going back to work with him he will get to know me and I think we are getting better. But hey does age matter? I don't think that it does if you love someone its for everything. Thank you so much!

Bradley Harrison on May 13, 2005Robert Frost once said "No tears for the writer, no tears for the reader." Do you agree, Marcy?

Wesley Storer on May 11, 2005Hello 18 year old texas girl who likes Hemingway and poetry. Thanks for liking "Pindar Agape". There sure are a lot of guys who spit on the sidewalk here in Spokane. I just don't understand it! Maybe now with the disclosures about our Mayor's private life, they will be afraid of conveying the wrong message. Thanks for thinking of me Marcy ann, and that sure sounds like a texas girl's name to me. I see you are for the culture of poetry, and that pleases me, for I believe that is the best way of thinking. There is good B.S. and bad B.S. Good B.S. is when you know it is B.S. Bad B.S. is when you don't know it's B.S. but you're supposed to believe it anyway!

Bradley Harrison on April 28, 2005Here is a quote: "The greatest way to live is in a fashion which requires no reward, no praise, and no remembrance. Only a genuine understanding of purpose dictates the essence of those who call themselves alive, and compells such individuals to find contentment from within."

Wesley Storer on March 6, 2005Well Gosh Darn if I ain't here again Tex to thank you for your liking Satan's Carnival. When I wrote this poem I was thinking of some guy who started up a rinky dink little carnival during the depression to help some poor hungry down and out friends and called it Satans Carnival to get their attention, but in reality, I would have to say when I was young I was the mouse in the wheel, but now I am the old guy selling bits of Cleopatra's hair, figuretively symbolically speaking of course. I guess I was meant to be an incurable romantic. I was never married but always in love with just about every female I ever saw. Of course, they never knew though. It might of gotten serious, or something. I am still the kid crouching down in the third row seat in the theater with as crush on every new actress he sees. But that was way back in the fifties. You would be surprised how far puppy love can carry you through the years, and nobody gets hurt too bad.
-
Wesley Storer on March 3, 2005Yes Pandora, of course, you are right, and lines 13 and 15 have been mercifully eradicated. Thank you for your imput. I am just a foolish, sentimental old man, wasting his time, trying to be a poet. Thanks for giving me a good conscientious critique. Keep in touch! Thank you! Also, thanks for critiquing "Shangri-la". I changed it somewhat, too. What a great book that was to read, written many many years ago. Thanks for your interest, "18 year old Texas Gal".

ForeverSilence on February 24, 2005thank you for your comment, i under stand what you mean about using more vocabulary and making things more clearly, but there is a certain rhythm to my poems and mine are mostly written to read so I can see were the confusion comes from and if you were to hear me read it, you would probably undurstand it more. Thanx.

Claide on February 2, 2005I may have missed your email, and if I have, please re-send it, but in case you haven't - just reminding you that lesson one is due by tomorrow!!
