    Cheryl,
Oh my oh my! It has been forever. How have you been? I'm rarely on AP these days. I just thought I would come and see how AP is. I've missed you. I'm thinking of you and haven't forgotten you. Take the best of care, okay?

  • Long Road Home : Cheryl on May 19, 2007
    Where have you been?
Out to the feeders I hope,
    pouring seed and packing suet,
catching glimpses of color on snowy branches
    and now spring comes
    sleep with the windows open
    and wake to song.
    A hot cup of coffee
and a comfortable chair in the morning sun,
    catch up on the world,
or just let it all go.
    Know that despite the miles,
I'm sitting with a hot cup of coffee
listening to that same wild song,
    and thinking of you.

    Have missed you
    Andrew

    Happy Mother's Day Cheryl!
  • heartnsoul on May 13, 2006
I went for a walk on a trail I hadn't been on in some time. I thought of you as the birds flew about me. Do you know how hard it is to get a photo of a bird? They just refuse to sit still. But when developed (fingers crossed they come out perfect) I did get some goslings that came right up to me while I was lying on the ground taking their picture. I thought of Katie. They are so soft looking and adorable. As much as they are for you I took it with Katie in mind too.. Hope you don't mind! You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
A Very Happy Mother's Day I do hope your's is filled with love and laughter!

    Love always,
    ~Michelle~

Love the birds we have blue jays here. The red carinals one must look for they are not as common. The blue with green. What type of bird is that one. I planted sunflowers and gorges to make some bird houses out of it for the birds and give away as Christmas presents. I like birds. I planted some flowers to attract butterflies. Since you like birds I book mark you to read some of your poems later.
    take care

life's heart, its beating song, is found here, within the soft echoes of your writing, your soul, as it searches for the long road toward home. you have such grace within you, i pray it surfaces continually to remind you that love is all around you in spite of what you see.
Blessings to you. and my sincere apologies for not being here when you needed me.
