    Faith. It is the difference between those who truly believe in God, and those who wander through the wilderness trying to find him. If you have faith, then he is already found.

    I feel for you. Simply because I know the differences between the Greek, Hebrew, and King James versions of the Bible. It is something that I have studied all of my life. While I am sure your quotations are well meant, it might puzzle you to know that some of them were re-worded by the men who edited the King James version, simply to justify their own beliefs and rhetoric of the time.

    May God have mercy upon your lost soul. This is the most disgusting and blaspheming thing I have ever seen. And, by the way...you are incorrect...now that it comes to mind...Blasphemy is THE WORST SIN...because it is the ONLY unforgivable sin...wherein God will command the Holy Spirit to leave you for eternity. Why dont you read that Bible more carefully "Reverend" and stop judging and being so quixotic about sinners burning in hell with "fire pokers going up their back ends" ... You need a SERIOUS and EMBRACING reality check. I'll pray for you.

    I carefully compared what you had written vs the KJV Bible and although the verses are correct, HE also said 'do not take the words out of context to prove your ideals or thoust shall be punished.' Our Lord and Saviour did not create us in HIS image and sacrificed HIS Son for all of us to burn in HELL, as long as you repent of your sins, ask for Our Lord to come into your life, heart, mind and soul and obey HIS laws to the fullest. However, one stipulation is we are ALL sinners, EVEN YOU and no matter what we do or TRY NOT to do we still sin and will ALWAYS fall short of HIS grace. That is why CHRIST died for us, HIS blood cleanses our sins so that we can follow HIM to Our Father in Heaven. If even the MINOR OFFENDERS would go to HELL, then NOONE would go to Heaven, including YOU. My suggestion for you, is to pray and stop judging, bcz NOONE can judge ANYONE but Our Father! Amen.

    This is just...horrible. I am an atheist and while I don't believe in God, I believe in equal rights and sincere treatment toward all people, regardless of their vices, unless they are causing harm to others. People like you are why I left Christianity. And I'm glad now.

    You call yourself a pastor? You should be spreading the love of Christ to the world and not being excited about sinners burning in hell... what is wrong with you? I think it's a sin to hope for sinners to burn in hell... "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" have you read that Mr. So-Called-Pastor. I've been judged in church for being a christian emo and it's not right to judge anyone for having sin in their life.

    I came over to return the favor and read some of your work as thanks for reading mine but after reading your author page I have had second thoughts. You are purely focussing on all in the bible that can be misconstrued and ignoring the good. I am not religious but there is good and bad in all religions, why can't people concentrate on the good? If you have a poem that isn't going to be brimming with idiocy let me know and I shall return the favor.

    I agree with many of that has been said here, but respect your views and what you say for each man has a right to believe what they believe. You do paint a very negative side to Christianity why not broaden with the grace's of Christianity as Zachary J. Payne addresses. Also open your eyes and heart, pray for the sinner to turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel. Many of the Saints had sinful lives before taking up the cross. Open your heart, God loves all his children, and God sent His only son to die for us so that sins may be forgiven.

    You forgot to mention some of the more positive attributes of Christianity . . . like the Good News, the splendour of Heaven, the love of a saviour who was willing to die on a cross for us . . . and I can keep going on.

    What is a sin you ask? Well here is a parable which I should like to draw to your attention.

    Jesus was leaving the Temple one Sabbath and he discovered a crowd stoning a woman to death. He said, "Whyfore do you stone this woman?' and the Head Pharisee said, "She is an whore and it is written that we must stone a whore to death.'

    And Jesus said, 'Let he or she who is without sin cast the first stone!' And a great silence fell upon the multitude, and they did cast their eyes down to the ground in shame.

    Then from out of the crowd came a little old woman who picked up a lump of rock and hurled it at the whore, wounding her grievously. And Jesus said to the woman, 'You really get on my tits sometimes, Mum.'

    The Bible says a lot of things. Why do you concentrate on the negative? Why do you condemn, when you are told directly not to? Let God judge me. I hope you find peace in something other than judgment of others who have done you no harm.

    Sin is sin, and God look on them all the same, but one, and it is not 'a sex sin'. All sins are forgivable but one - and if you are as much a Christian as you say you are, you know what it is. But I will give you a hint, read Mark, Chapter 3.
