    look around there's nothing but blue skies
    eternal optimist? naw
    another way of saying hoping and praying
    totally in God like sending rain

    so He can make rainbows explode
    like a skittles factory
    remind us to work it
    everything we got, see good in bad

    and no matter how stressful it gets
    hard as seems to go onwards
    and all cliche b.s. i'm fine leave me be
    be what? idunno a friend

    a true blue icicle hanging out with you
    awfully chilly but i'll send you
    a mental bit of sunshine
    ahhh mexican sunsets and pina coladas... meh

    don't gotta go to mexico though
    if the mirror is looking gloomy
    smile and try and cheer it up
    sounds corny but you'll get an instant reaction

    where is this going?
    just writing you to say
    i still thinkin of you
    that i'm taking some thinking time

    if you think i'm crazy
    wonder why i'd be one to listen
    you already know i am
    that's my wisdom in disguise
