Dear heart, I am sincerely flattered that you would bring that question to me. I hope I don't screw up the answer. God knows all, can say what will happen from start to finish. But, to my eye, that does not mean that every step you take is predestined. "The world will be in thus and such a state at this time.", He says, but not "Linda will be born in it to write poetry." That would pretty much remove free will as a force in our lives. God, of course, could, but does not. His plan is for the world, He asks that we love one another and enjoy the wonders He provides for us. Satan brought about the dark underbelly of humanity with his desire to be worshiped, it is a corruption that is in no way a part of Gods' plan. God stayed His hand to allow Satan to prove that he could not rule, to show that humanity would not be properly cared for. Desire became our leading "Cause", love became only cause to suffer, and God cannot step in because He said He wouldn't. He waits until no doubt can remain in any heart or mind that His way is the better way, the ONLY right way. His son as our savior, His book as our guide, He waits with opened door for us to join Him. We have to get there, is all.
But so many hold DESIRE as their God and "self" as their only goal. This is why we suffer, every one of us. God did not 'put' you where you are, you were born to it. A thing that is possible because the world and its' peoples are corrupted. I know there are questions opened by my point of view. I will be happy to go over them, we can study together, teach each other. This is poor site for such missives, though, so if you wish to write me feel free: longhairedbaldguy@excite.com.(My only permenant e-mail addy) In the end, though, all that matters is that we have a loving Father who cares for us. So, we're gonna be just FINE.

That's the one. The harbors ain't closed, just unused. But, dive as deeply as you want to, a lifeguard is on duty. Glad to share this world with you, it makes it nicer. Sincerely.
    Rick.

Why didn't I see that!?! Couldn't see the forest for the trees, I guess. I love puzzles, riddles, and all such play, but looked too hard to notice the obvious. Another failing of mine.

I am a rock, I am an island, perhaps? That's my best guess, but, right or wrong, you may keep the points. To be honest simply finding a message from you is reward in itself, any visit to the site seems incomplete without one.

My sincerest thanks. Glad you liked it and kept requesting it, my ego is pleased.

I'll be checking your writes often, will be heard from again. As I said, your poetry has a strength and passion, with line and phrase that are powerful in point and emotion. Even if you chase me off, you'll have to build a fence, and know I will be checking it for holes. Thanks for the comment.
