ttyl.

Ditto what Stephanie said. I've not been a presence at AP much in the last *cough* year...ish, but I've been poking my head in a bit more often of late. So I'm enjoying the rediscovery of folks whose work I knew I liked for a reason.

hi... i was actually wondering that are you from india, which has also a state called u.p., or some other country's u.p.?
-
Okay. How are you doing? I've talked to you in a while...and (gasp) I've actually started writing again...scary I know.
How has life been? I hope well. I'll have to catch up on all of the poetry you've written while I've been away.

Justin,
Hey, I was just dropping by to say that I'm sorry I haven't commented in a very long time or written anything, life just gets in the way sometimes. But I am not dead (in case you had this overwhelming urge to find out.
Talk to you later,
Elizabeth
-
hi Lo i missed you while i was away...what? you didn't know i was away? and what is up with this neon green you flashin' around...wow...it's....unique.
-
Thanks for commenting on my poem, and actually understanding what I was talking about. Tee. Also, you like Eternal Sunshine, so.. you rock hard.
Meet me in Montauk.
xoxo forevermore
-
hey thanks... I missed seeing this until now. But, thanks anyway.
-
I just want to say I like your style. I do not find too many here to read than I like so much , but your poems I enjoy . I do not make many comments because my English grammar is not great. I do not have so much time for saying properly things to poems. It sometime takes me a long time to read with understanding.
-
eh heh, the brightness is killing me...I'm melting, I'm melting..

no you're not..

This green gives me a headache.
And I usually love green.

Wooops! I just realized I put the comment in the wrong spot! haha, I'm so smart! That was meant for your contest...which I will now copy and past into there, so you get it twice! Lucky you!! Edited on Feb 17, 8:09 p.m. because 'Well, I did want the points ya know '.
-
Hmmm...well considering my vocabulary sux...I think I gotta look this one up I think I know what it means, but if you asked me to define it, I would stare at you blankly and cock one eyebrow But....do you know what "piebald" means?? muwahahahaaaa
still don't know?
ok...it means 'irregularly marked in black and white blotches...um....ya, don't ask.
Just some useless info..
~~T~~
-
you're welcome, of course. Nice job, also. I usually end up placing in contests that I didn't expect to as well.
-

Raging lunatic poet. That's cute. And a little dangerous... oooohhh.
-
ding, ding, ding. That is correct.

-
Nigeria. I knew that.
Did you know that the study of flags is called vexillology?
-
-
-
Um, gonna show some ignorance here, and ask where the flag is for?
-
ohh you just shuffled... you tease... still love that first one...

Who said I didn't like rhyme? Good rhyme, that is. Bad rhyme sucks. But so does bad prose.
-
Why you clever devil! I have always enjoyed the Subtlety of a double-edged sword ...and get a little thrill when some people pick it up. Does that answer your question or are you wondering why I didn't enter the "100 words to describe weed" contest ...thot about it D:

Yeah I was thinkin' of making a pregnancy joke but I thought it'd be lame.

-
Yeah, and when you wrote that it was 9 months to the day. I was going to make some pregnancy joke here, but I'll leave you to your imagination to come up with one. It probably would be better than one I would make anyway.
-
Hey, you're welcome. I was thinking about it after, and thought that 'high on a hill' has two meanings: one being the location on the hill, and one being a drug reference. Just curious as to your intentions. Again, you're welcome.

-
Again Thank you so very much for the bronze given to me for "High On A Hill" That I am thrilled would be an understatement!
-
Man you've only been a member for 9 months? Damn seems like you've been here as long as I have or longer or just about ..
Just seems like you've been here longer than 9 months.

-
I am taking your advice in high on a hill and am dropping the "The" in front of profane...it doesn't stumble for me but if it does for you it will to many others so I will trust your instinct. Thanks!
-
-
Hey Justin, send me the link for your 'the man I never met' poem, I can't find it. Thanks, Susan
-
I need to stop looking at the background now. It's making faces at me.
-
I suppose that's fair... yes, I do want critiques, because I'm getting ready for publication soon. And I thought it only fair to give something in return for asking something... but oh well. I suppose everyone doesn't need to be as trusting as I am.
-
The Chinaman is not the issue here...

So, you're a Lebowski fan, I'm a Lebowski fan....that's terrific! Edited on Jul 12, 9:00 because 'typo queen'.
