Ava Noire on November 30, 2004Hey Meg. How have you been? I haven't been very well myself. My computer crashed a few weeks ago and when I finally got it fixed I started having trouble with my internet service! Then I had to have surgery on the 24th, and things were worse than my doctor thought, so recovery has been much longer than I had anticipated. sigh but I'm hanging in there. Ava Noire on February 12, 2004Hey guys - this is a note to let you all know some of the things I will be doing to help you out with your writing. Each week I will feature a poem of your desire. Just IM me and let me know which poem it is you wish to have featured in the box. If I don't hear from you I will pick one
If you have any particular poem you do not feel pleased with, send me the title through IM or email and I can help you. If you don't have Word Perfect or Corel, or any other type of program that has spell and grammar checks, you can let me know and I can run your poems through mine and send you a copy of the suggested changes. I use it with every poem I write and it is a great tool to have. I firmly believe the more polished your work is, the better writer you will become.
I have several 'games' in mind that I could do weekly to those of you who wish to participate, let me know and I can give you weekly assignments. Completed assignments will earn 20 points - more if I have the points, and for harder assignments. It won't be anything very hard, it will be just maybe to write a haiku if you never have - or to look up a certain word and write about it.
I hope I can help further develop your skills in writing
