I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way

Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall

What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat

I love your home page. And the poem you posted here is definatly outstanding. It's great that you have written so many poems. WOW! I've been writting for about 4 years now. I don't write everyday. It's funny...I have days where I can sit down and write 5 or 6 a day, then I'm completely empty in my head and I'll go around and do all the mundane things we all have to do through life and I'll not speak to anyone for about 2 days. Mainly because I've said all I had to say in my writing. There is a calming peace that is over me after I write what's on my mind, so it gives life a chance to mess with me some more then I write more. Tell you the truth I love the piece you've posted on here. I am not big on rhyming because I stink at it but I took part of a rhyming class (I don't have time for the other half ) and I have a higher regard now for those who can do it. Sorry. and im not here to comment it.. i jsut wanna know where you got the idea or what it was you where feeling.. cause i want a piece of it!!.... and im glad you didnt want anyone critqueing it.. poems are not ment to be put in a box, and judged. if they were they wouldnt be called poems. they would be called stories, --stories need revising and re-editing-- poems dont.
