Cyan314 on April 21, 2006Hey, how goes it?
-
Cyan314 on April 4, 2005haha, yes I'm back! I was there visiting my friend Charlotte in venice actually, the one who has an AP page (sprezzatura)... it was amazing; all these little winding alleys, poetry in each moment. Have you ever been to italy? It was my first time there and FANTASTIC; my mom grew up in Milan and I've always been begging her to bring me...
Shannon -
LaPetiteSinger on April 4, 2005Maybe I'll add later...I just think people get bored after there's more than one thing up there...they stop reading. Anyway, are you back from Italy you little meanie? UGH I think I'm still mad

Cyan314 on April 4, 2005You can have TWO featured songs...
I love the current one too, though. Grudgingly.
A committed Nightswimming Fan, Shannon -

LaPetiteSinger on January 22, 2005Adam, there are sooo many things that I now understand because of you. The depth of everything - love, beauty, words - has opened up to me. Thank you..
I love you

SomnusLupus on January 22, 2005katie, in reflection on the above two comments, there are two songs which through the filter of your love, i understand, when i just never got what they were (blatantly) saying before.
nightswimming
and
i feel free
i love you

LaPetiteSinger on January 15, 2005Shannon, I know. I don't know what it is about this song but the words, the music, the memories...there is soooo much wrapped into it. Whenever it comes on, I am flooded with nostalgia but it's wonderful and terrible and I always feel like I'm hearing it for the first time in a long time (even if I just listened to it the day before). The words "nightswimming deserves a quiet night" seem to mean so much more than their literal meaning. It's in the undertones of the song and it's so sweet and so true. "What if there were two side by side in orbit around the fairest sun"
Oh CTY...

Cyan314 on January 15, 2005Oh, Kaaaaaaatttiieeee... NIGHTSWIMMING!!!
Wow... that song reflects so much to me, and i just realised how long it has been since I've actually listened to it, simply because whenever i do, I simply need to lay down on my bed and LISTEN, revel in the memories and strengthen the string that ties it all to me now... Wow. Reading the lyrics brought so much back. Perhaps it is just because of the memories it evokes, but that song seems to mean that love deserves it's own world, and creates it, but that world deserves to be unperturbed by the hustle and bustle of those who do not understand it, the people who are too quick to judge and too slow to accept. And then it's just beautiful.
The song, i mean. And other things.
Peace, Shannon -
