The hours, they turn to days
The days, well they turn into weeks
The weeks, into months, and the next thing you know
A year has passed by.

My life was dull and boring
Now the hours, days, weeks, and months
How quickly they slip away
Now that I was working day and night.

Yes. Change is necessary. Sometimes we learn that the hard way, but we learn anyway.

Took change and loss for me to realize why I kept repeating the same mistakes..and now I know..and now I can prevent, or at least try to prevent myself from making the same mistakes again.

As the sands of time
Slip through the hour glass
