    I am really nervous about it. I will still work in the writing lab on Saturdays. Also I am teaching the DSP0800 writing workshops for 250 college students. Just teaching all the procedures.

    Hi Ivory Garden,
    I love the name! You visited me and I wanted to thank you for that and your reply. Interesting this part: "A thought is not complete
    until it becomes the written word"
    Do you say that? I see thought as the possible reality. When we cultivate the thought, then the reality of that thought grows.
    But what really amazed me was your lines are like mine which is like this. A thought could be real or unreal, but once the thought is written with the pen, then that thought is an irefutable reality. I'll be reciprocating your visits soon and again, thank you.

    The first words on your author's page strike me.. "I am in love/hate with writing"....
    I think I know exactly what you mean. At least I hope I do. I used to use poetry as a means to express emotion that my body was too worn out to express and thus... I hated writing; to the core..
    I've made the decision now that not all writing or poetry has to be the "end all" or the "be all". It can be amusing, serious, lovely; Now that I'm a Christian I've been re-awakened to the positive emotions and I realize that writing is a passion that is love/hate. And that's okay. (did that make any sense? I'm a bit off kilter this evening; just filed my taxes.)

    I see you are fairly new to this site. I welcome you. I can see from your comments that you are a sister in Christ. I again welcome you. This sight has many believers and non-believers and I welcome another believer.

    Thank you for your comment on my "Three Crosses". It is one of many that I am proud of. It looks like I will enjoy my visit here.
