    what is art without passion?
    what is life without passion?
    ( no answer expected )

death would be an easy door if no fire blocked its entrance at least it seems that way to me.

    So would I....
I suppose I'd call it a surrender to whatever may be.. rather than a quest to conquer, or succeed..

for me it's about the experience, the 'being' in it if that makes any sense.. because that's when time ceases to matter, or be noticed.. I just 'am'...
  • ArtFullyMe on November 27, 2008

genital genius, now there's a mouthful... no pun intended..

  • ArtFullyMe on November 27, 2008

  • ArtFullyMe on November 27, 2008

    on second thought.....
not the lobotomy.. much as it pains me to say that

  • ArtFullyMe on November 27, 2008

    strikes g from the alphabet!

( hmmmmmm I was going to say gone.. then realized it used a bunch of g's to say that )

    okay..can't strike it away....

    I want, in this order
    a happy pill
    another happy pill
    then a map to oblivion
    with a no return ticket

oh and a lobotomy just in case I wake up

to be or not to be...

    startling isn't it?

if the question is whether or not to be
shouldn't the what of the BE ....be, the issue?
  • cvillelisa on November 25, 2008

Yes. I will be pulling a few more sours out of the jar soon. It is helpful to have them looked at again get some good crits, copy and save everything as I go through this revision process for the potential chapbook thingy.

I have deleted away SO many though. I should have not really done that probably. Hundreds and hundreds over the last 5 years.

    Ah well.

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    "good will"

when we can't even agree on what either of those words mean....

his good, her good, their good, for the good...
doesn't really matter which way you spin that, it divides.....and seems bloody .....endless
  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

trying to find logic .. in that ... ..
is there anything that will twist one into contortions more than that? .. and make ones brain ....literally hurt?

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    thanks, I suspected that.... lol

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

I'd rather be dirty than purty..
puritan is a good name for stew, but useful for little else..

here's a curious question... can you lose your mind if you've already lost it?

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

impeccable jesters, with bright balls that fester and glorious tin foil abodes....

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    we are fools..

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

our farter, who art in heaven
    hollowed be thy name,
    thy kingdom dumb,
    thy will be done
on earth as it is in.....

    the abandon of bliss

a devotion so agonizing it consumes
leaving only the bright sear of pain
    mistaken for ecstasy
by those who would kill in its name
  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

like the way you put that... I'm not sure I could have articulated it as well..

for me his work.. is like a collective scream.. the pain of this.. us... existence.. and the torture of being forced to comply.... in a way similar perhaps to what it says to you... can't really say... all I know is it touches me.
  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    yeah..... I do
  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

that has such an attractive image in it.. lol

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

an excellent diet, though a bit too full of cholesterol if you enjoy them as I do -- lightly salted with a hint of pepper and deep fried in heavy oil

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    oooops, ooooops....oooooops..
    okay ..revising..

    If I was a fairy
    all freckled and hairy
I'd curl myself up in a coil

    and fashion a hat
    a bright one at that
    from the shiniest ribbons
    and foil

    lol

  • ArtFullyMe on November 11, 2008

    If I was a fairy,
    all freckled and hairy
I'd braid myself into a bow

    but not for a present
    as gifts are too pleasant
    and too many
    are full of false glows
  • cvillelisa on November 11, 2008

    Gathering, gathering, gathering.

  • ArtFullyMe on November 10, 2008
    certainty is experienced ...creativity....

yep, and I'm certain I experienced it here earlier ... lol
  • lemonpancake : HEYAAA on November 9, 2008
    great name!
  • ArtFullyMe on November 7, 2008
    yep....
because ..as we've been through ..so many times, people don't want to upset themselves further than they already are....and doing anything else might initiate the worst horror of all....

    change..
  • ArtFullyMe on November 7, 2008
    yes....
its seems everyone figures the world is only relative to them, disregarding the other -- that they're relative to it (from an alternative point ie: the perspective of someone else)

    that missing us....
  • ArtFullyMe on November 7, 2008

    lol, it is !
a bunch of points pinned to curves all spinning on an axis..

but it's the imaginary borders people draw between their cultures that fascinate me.. rather like animals mark territories with scent, it seems rather similar.
  • ArtFullyMe on November 7, 2008

    borders....
funny how imaginary lines invent a world isn't it??
  • ArtFullyMe on November 7, 2008
    Good question....

maybe maps are the only way some can imagine a world?
  • notorious on November 7, 2008
"from a fruity point of view
poetry is what a bannana feels like under chimp-touch"

    Um...wow.
    That was rich in potassium.

"hoped I'd be at least an ice cube
    in the stream of piss
    that makes your thoughts cycle

    now that I've melt
    I'm nobody
    I don't exist
and since I'm not I cannot write about it

so go read someone who does"

    'piss'<==love it

WHERE ARE THE REST OF YOUR POEMS?
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008
I'm not sure mine is, but anything that gets me I'll sit on...lol
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008
    naaa no pigeons ..
but I'd watch out for wasps that circle around and bite you in the ass... lol
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008

    it is to me..
you bat a few around, throw a few outfield, chase the ones you can and catch what falls in your glove
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008
    probably....

    I agree though, never alone..
    because sharing expands perspective
  • ArtFullyMe on November 1, 2008

and as soon as we say that... someone will come along saying it's all inside the mind anyway so what difference does it make...
