  OOOH! I loooove Laurel K. Hamilton! I am reading the Anita Blake series right now! I am only on the forth, (The Lunatic Cafe) but i am already addicted! She is a great writer, and really knows how to grip the readers.

  You know, it was kinda weird when I replied. I guess I just wasn't expecting YOU to reply to MY reply. If that makes any sense. Anyhow, I'm kind of happy that you're going to write your own story about your life because that makes it seem more personal, yet no so. Thanks for thinking that I'm strong, really, I'm not. Well, that's how it feels some of the time. Anyhow, I needed to put "corrections" on my story so I'm working on that right now. And then I plan on trying to just write a fictional story and maybe some more poetry/songs/whatever. So yeah... I'm going to read some of your writes tonight too so peace out.

  , thank you for responding, its weird, like I read a story and dont expect to hear from the author, and thats an honor, and its so cool, that, the story is true, even though I wish you had, had a better life, and I hope things get better for you, tell "Marilyn" I said hi also, and that I think shes great. It would be great to talk more about "our lives" and how they went wrong, or our problems, and relate. I'll check out more of your stuff, and drop you a message every now and then and we can keep in touch, or we can swap e-mails. Thanks for responding, and it was nice reading your stuff , good luck, and keep your head up!!!! You are truly a strong person for getting through all of this! Your'e right, its all about survival. I'm not that much older than you 18 going on 19, and even though my life has been different, it has had its bad things in it. I'm going to write about my own life, but it might take like 20 chapter to write it out cause I'll be getting into more details of every year lol. Hope you read it sometime. Take care.

  Hello. I just read all of your comments and it made me smile at how much you really related and liked it. Yes, it IS a true story- mine actually. Although, all names except Matty's and my grandparents' has been changed. I wasn't really trying to write this just for the fun of it, but I guess I wanted other people to know what I had to go through as I grew up, and how I'm trying to cope with my life. I know I've gone through so much shit that over time, so many times, I got to the point where I no longer gave a fuck whether I was alive or dead. Sometimes I still feel like that, but with the help of my friends, I think I'm doing a lot better. Right now I'm in the library at school sitting next to "Marilyn". She said hi. I'm so glad that you commented and I'm also glad that I inspired you to write about your own life. I must tell you though that dealing with all of this over again was kind of hard, but I tried to be strong, like my grandpa would have wanted if he were still here today. I'm only 17 and I've had so much to go through. I'm hoping that maybe your life was better than mine. If it hasn't, I'd like to try and help, like how "Marilyn" and "Carmen" have helped me. Thanks again for your comment. I'd like it if maybe we could talk some time about where things went wrong in our lives. If not, that's okay. Anyhow... peace out.

  Hey Raven, all you have to do is highlight the link, right click on it, click copy, then go up to the address bar and paste it, and it should go through, but I think I figured out why you can't see chapter 8, only ppl listed over 18 can see it because it has one scene thats brutal, a bit erotic, and may be disgusting to younger people, its only one scene but I had to put it, but for the next 24 hours I'll list it under regular so then maybe if you look it up you can see it and read it. Let me know what happeds lol ,

  chapter 8 must be around somewhere but it keeps going from chapter 7 to chapter 9 straight away on your poem a magiger....hmmm....idk...it just shows its not there!

  just wanted to give you advice to get you more entries into your contest; make sure you say you will judge this contest on the desired date you choose, but change the date to the contest every so often so many can see it sooner. many people do not look past the contests listed on the front batch that come up. i always give a close date in my contests this way when they open it, they know itz not going to close in a day or so like they thought. this way itz like publicizing it without costing you points. my fourth contest i have no entries and itz been open for almost a week, but i do know two people that will enter it (but my latest contest requires time). i look at it this way, the fewer people that enter the less stress on me when judging. if i get only three entries, at least everyone will win a trophy, hehehe. i do wish you luck in the contest on judging and hope that you will decide to keep it no matter how many entries you get (which i hope is many). theDARK1 slides into the shaDows.
