    The circles of existence
    are often hard to see
    For personal their movements
when it comes to you and me

    But all was in beginning
and all shall be in end
I'm sorry for your loss there
and hope you're soon to mend

    A purpose in the planning
    A need behind the view
    Important we go on now
and see our whole life through

    For each are interwoven
    among this tapestry
    Each action we are taking
    effect more than we see

    Hugs...Eddy

    Darling IamMeg

I know why I am here. I made you a favorite and my faerie god mum, Laura Lamarca is right about being there for you. She is a dear but if you ever need an ear I too am here. I have an add a line on my page "I wish I said" that you may love to express, well, feelings pent up. Smoosh

I don't quite know how I found myself to be on your page, but I am and I'd like to say I'm sorry for your loss. I'm only here if you ever need to talk or just for a hug. Be well. La x

    Hi Meg,
Thank you for sharing some of your life with us. I too love life with a passion. I love the ups and downs because of how much I learn. For me life is a continuous journey where we make conscious free-will decisions to either park off, or take up the challenges presented to us to grow and learn in this school called life. I find writing to be a wonderful tool for growth. It is a means of ordering my thoughts and making sense of the not-so-obvious and the confusion that sometimes surrounds me. It is a place of gentle, healing reflection on where I am and what I need to do on my journey through life.
It is a pleasure to meet you and to read your work. ~ Moira ~

I don't know I was in class and borad. I liked what a teacher was saying about sound bouncing of of the walls so i wrote a poem about sound bouncing of something. it is just a werid poem. it is not my best peace of work

lol, very well said, and I would support you and your poetry against Plato-minded people anyday!

You have very well thought out writes. You are very passionate about the things you put down. I am the same way when I write. I don't always rhyme, some lines just come out like I wanted too, but I am not usally going for that style. This last one about survival was about my idiot company trying to basicly screw me, but I have teeth and I bite if I have to survive for my two kids. Well I bit them and now they will have to account for their neglegence in keeping the school busses safe.Sometimes being a single mother with no help really sucks! Kepp on writting I am looking forward to reading more of your work!

Yes - it is such a contradiction within myself - so logical/rational, yet artistic and creative ... Plato would probably view my musings as such a waste of time, unless he actually read them and gleaned from them the rational thought woven throughout.
  • Capital on August 16, 2005
Your favourite book is The Republic and you're a poet? hm. Plato would have wanted to banish you from his ideal!
*off to read one of your poems now...
  • swanpool on August 12, 2005

Hey IamMEg! Welcome to AllPoetry! AllPoetry is an interactive community which helps you grow as a poet. This site is not one alone. There are also Storywrite, AllPilosophy, and Oldpoetry which are sister sites run by the same management.

At www.storywrite.com , you’ll find “Storywrite” which is the story writing counterpart to AllPoetry (which focuses on poetry).

www.allphilosophy.com is the home of “AllPhilosophy”, a place for discussions and debates on topics people are interested in.

Oldpoetry, www.oldpoetry.com , houses the poems of over 5740 “old poets” from 970 BCE to the 1900s. Included are many poems by William Shakespeare, Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Dickenson, William Butler Yeats, Robert Frost, Langston Hughes, and many more!

Since you’re a member of AllPoetry, you’re automatically a member of Storywrite and AllPhilosophy.

We have a special contest for new members in July, hope you can check it out! Find it at www.allpoetry.com/contest/1362104

Before embarking on your journey of writing on AllPoetry, make sure you read the following pages:
www.allpoetry.com/column695302 (How to keep yourself safe online)
www.allpoetry.com/special/policies (The rules here on AllPoetry)

Next to your name, you’ll notice a silver medal. When you first sign up on AllPoetry, you are given a one-week trial Silver membership. Don’t worry though, after the week is over, you’ll still be a part of the AllPoetry community. You’ll keep your username, the points you may have earned, and most settings you may have placed within this week (e.g. your favorites). If you like what you see in your Silver membership, you can purchase one in the membership store (www.allpoetry.com/store) There you can also purchase points or even a Gold membership if you wish! (Currently, GOLD memberships are 10% off!)

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask! You can send a message to the “help” user (www.allpoetry.com/greetermsg#) or check out the Help page (www.allpoetry.com/help)

Most of all, READ, WRITE, AND HAVE FUN!

    Sincerely,
Kate (Darkened Rainbow) and The AllPoetry Greeter Team
