i wish we still talked... you kept me sane through so much, and now that i've hit a hard time again, you're nowhere... i stand alone realizing for the first time what i've truly lost.

Although I post my work on a poetry site, not everything I do should be considered a "poem". A poem is only a poem when it touches people's hearts. I consider my work simply as my work, my writing. Although the writes are listed as "poems", each and every piece is not necessarily a poem. Read on, if you like. But do not feel the need to label these works as "poems" just because they all seem to rhyme. Rhyming does not automatically make a piece of writing into a poem. I choose to rhyme in most of my work simply because it is a familiar style for me and helps me to channel my energies into a piece of writing that flows in my mind and off my tongue. Thanks to those of you who do consider my work art. Most of it is art to me, and I appreciate when it is considered so by others untainted by my opinions. As for the general stuff I'm supposed to list here:
What kind of descriptive words can we come up with to describe my styles?
Writing Style: lacking real integrity, bland, predictable, repetitive, sappy, sweet, honest, humorous, identifiable, generic, grade-school rhyme-age, singsong quality, but overall an okay read for those fortunate enough to have been born without a strong background in criticism.
Myself: Absolutely adorable, silly in an "i wonder if she's really like this all the time" kind of way, indecisive, generic, honest in a "beat around the bush" sort of way, semi-intelligent, profound in an "i should have thought of that" way, and oh, did i mention absolutley adorable?
Etc: who knows. people that know me can answer this with just a little certainty as any stranger can. i'm hella-confusing most of the time and no one can ever tell when i'm fucking around or being serious. it all adds to the mystique and wonderment that make me irresistable. Oh, and for those of you that may think so, I am not really this self-confident or conceited. I have a false inflated sense of self to isolate and buffer my world from yours. Don't be put off by it. It comes and it goes.
