    Hey,

I stopped by your page because your screen name was appealing to me. Me and you already have a few things in common, because I am a black female from Mississippi, too. (I'll be 21 in a few more months.) You have some really delightful poetry. Perhaps writing is your purpose...I can relate to the trying to find yourself out there in the world because I am still searching for the meaning of my own life (it seems rather pointless). But I can tell in your writing that you have a beautiful, unbreakable soul. I hope that you will find your path in life, as well as someone who will love you unconditionally. In the meanwhile, do visit my page--perhaps you will find something you like. Add me to your growing list of fans...

    Many blessings,

    Raven Aurora

Re quest for meaning in life:
Hey, that's what living in the modern era is all about. It was always drilled into my head in English class in high school that the 20th century (and, we assume, the 21st) is all about searching for meaning, because so many catastophic and inhuman things have happened to us, and religion sort of recedes before science for most people.

I've personally always thought that it's more about the journey into life for its meaning than it's about finding the answer. But then again, I'm the kind of person who wishes we could all go on those archetypal movie journies to discover ourselves in two weeks or less.

Hello, thank you for the replies to my poems. I haven't had a chance to read yours yet (sorry), but I will do so. All of this talk about a purpose- it was amusing. Just be who you are and give to yourself and others through your poetry. You will make your mark on the world some day and we will never forget you. Take Care.

Hey I liked your bio. You will find a purpose and if you don't ever find a purpose than that was your purpose. So not matter what you will always have a purpose. What the hell am I talking about? I don't really know lol :0) Ok I am going to go check out your poems.
