Thanks for the bronze in your contest. I try to write about things that have an affect on either my life or others in the most expressive way I can. spend my days running a business I started many years ago so the time I spend writing is "my" time to either reflect or send a message . The things I do during that time are important to me. When I paint I am also painting a reflection of me and when someone receives one of my painted vases and likes it, well, there are many rewards that mean more than the almighty dollar bill. Thanks for noticing my work.

Yeah I'm ok, just missing Glen so badly! I gotta get off my butt though and do something. I'm gonna bring my bike over from his next time I'm over there so I got some sort of escape from the twins!!! I feel like a built in babysitter!!! Yoday I had a total of about an hour in my day when i wasn't with them! I love them to pieces I do, but when you are so used to having time to yourself...and I want to have children??? Lol. I think it's different with your own though hey? Anyways, I'm doing ok really.
I have a trip up to Manchester to look forward to. I'm meeting up with some old university friends who I haven't seen in 3 years! I've missed them so much! We are going out for my friend, Manda's birthday. Going to be awesome. It's also going to be a sort of rememberance thing for another of our frinends who died about a year ago. None of us knew til recently. I feel real bad cause I didn't leave on the best of terms with everyone. But she was amazing! So we are going to party hard in her memory cause it's what she would have wanted. smiles
I'm so excited!! Me and Glen have decided we are going to go into business together. We are going to have a record shop and I'm going to do all the finances etc while he deals with the customers! It'll be hard work, but we are both agreed it is what we want! YEY!!! So I'm am going back to college to study ready for that while Glen saves up to fund it. We all need a goal in life, and now I have one I'm gonna do my darndest to achieve it!
Well my bro is poking me to get off cause I've had my allotted half hour, so I shall leave this here. Hope you are well Marianne! Take care sweets, Dari xxx

very impressive that you've studied jeet kune do. I have a vast amount of respect for Bruce Lee and his fighting style. I only wish I could find a teacher that FULLY knows the martial arts. so many seem arrogant and not very grounded. martial arts are only half physical, the rest being mental and/or spiritual, depending upon your religious views.

I'll be back to read your stuff after the contest. I don't want to seem to be currying favor.
