Hey! Ya I haven't been over here in a while! It's nice to hear from you. I noticed that one of your favorite poems is The Lady Of Shalott, one of my favorites as well! My background is even a painting of her!
About Escaflowne- I LOVE the series. It's cool to find someone who knows what Escaflowne and the Lady of Shalott are!... I haven't watched too many other animes unfortunately because I'm busy watching sci-fis. I've watched Gundam Wing and several Miyizaki's (forgive me if I got his name wrong) films- I admire his artwork! I see you've earned quite a few more trophies since I last dropped by- Congrats!
Have a Great Day!
-
I know there is, I have seen afew pictures from it. I think there is going to be a third to, but I'm not sure on that.
Um, they were written for quizilla, the style I mean. You can always go on there and read them if you want. The link to my page is as my home page up there. And by the way my first Wonka story has an Alice twist to it.
Well I best be going. Talk to you later.

Writing on Jack Sparrow, eh?
Well, post it on AP so I can read it, too!
Sheesh! It's not like you were the only one who saw Pirates of the Carribean!
As I'm sure you know, however, there's a sequal coming up (there's ALWAYS a sequal).
Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest
My cousin went crazy when she heard about that, LoL
Anywho, good luck with the write!

I love your quote at the very beginning of your page "Those of intellect are very seldom sane, for sanity only breeds ignorance." That's one of the best things that I have ever read, for I am not sane, yet I do however posses some intellect.
-
HeHe that sounds about right too. My family are talented but they are not the nicest people. Not here in America nor back in England and Scotland. I don't know what it is, but they all need to learn to control their anger. I swear you would never had known that the Sargents came out of the Royal family{scotland}, not the way they all act. Bloody idiots the lot of them.
~Rhiannon~
-
I just had to come and say hi after reading your comment on the poll about writing, "a Sargent is normally either a writer/poet or an artist."
Around here it's more like, "A Sargent is either in jail or on the run." If you ever come to the Belleville area use a different last name.

The quote about walking backwards actually came from a friend of mine. We were talking to another kid we knew, and Adam was walking backwards. When Tyler (the other kid) asked why he was walking backward, he replied, "So I can see who I'm talking to."
And when Tyler mentioned people will be very angry when he bumps into them, Adam replied in a very convincing baffled tone: "I don't see why... It's not my fault. I can't see where I'm going; they can!"
-
HeHe! I like those quotes. Have you read my poem thingy on here, Penguins are Swimming in the Tub!? It is a bunch of stuff from my sister and me. Most of it really happened.
Anyway, I fixed your name on my page.
Ah, now I need some tea. Chi Tea!
Oh by the way I love that quote about walking backwards, my sister thought it was funny too.

Tea time! Tea time!
The March 15th at 6:00! (or so my March-Hare tells me!)
I've been included! Yay! ^_^
Here's a quote, made by myself, you may find useful in some way or another:
"Before you earn the right to laugh at others, you must first learn to laugh at yourself."
"Only once you've been through hell can you truly appreciate what heaven is."- Michael; Paranoid
And here are a few that may make you laugh:
"Great minds think alike! That's probably why we're all so d*** stupid."
"Walking backwards is the ultimate way to prove how rude everybody else is. If you bump into someone, it's their fault: They can see where they're going; you can't."
"The mootant goose (cousin to the mutant goose) is exactly 29 feet, 12 inches tall. For reasons and causes unknown by man, this strange creature will sneak into your pocket and steal your wallet. You will always know when it's been in your pocket, because it always leaves strange things in place of your wallet including a gumball machine, a left shoe, and two Russians playing chess." - 'The Group' Beasterary
Now that last one I will not allow you to use. It's kind of an inside joke between some friends at school and I...
We've come up with all sorts of strange little creatures, and as soon as one of us gains some decent drawing skills, we're going to make our own private little book!
Anyways, I must be off! My tea is ready!

No I don't mind at all. But don't worry I don't plan on having children before I meet my 'soulmate', in fact I don't plan on having sex until I'm married.
That was a lovely poem, it was delightful to read. Thank you for sharing that.
And yeah, I don't really like making trouble, but I had to say something to that person. Now when I do a contest I have rules, but I don't undermine poets who want to use a certain style of poetry.
And she said that talking that way is a mannerisem, and poetry should not be about mannerisems. I beg to differ, all poety is based in our own mannerisems, if not they would not reflect us, would they?!
Anyway, off that, some people can just be pig headed about things.
I'm glad you liked my intro here, it took me some time to type it up. Also I need to update it, add some things.
Talk to you later.
~Rhiannon~

Hello from the "gypsy poetess in motion" waydownuponjoy! I loved your intro and came to it VIA your comment on a contest site something about "publishable poets" with a ton of restricitions. What you said was "perfecto"! Thanks for speaking up to someone who feels that "rules" make those who have a "voice" shutup!!! Nothing more than peer pressure that I've encountered way to long.(55+) Anyway, I couldn't help but notice that you said when you weren't writing that you were the Gypsy Bard and since I'd already penned one for that title I'll share it with you now!
The Gypsy’s Bard …
With sanctions steeped in pensiveness,
and spoke in foreign tongues;
Worldly gifts of wistfulness,
that come well-wrapped in puns.
Tied up loose, as silk-spun strands,
reflect the gold of suns;
Carried long, through well-trod lands
or mountains; one by one.
Mapping out the well-worn trails,
knocked down by those of yore.
Opening up the wounds from nails,
while hung, like Him before.
Searching hands then grasp the heart,
you’re living … that’s for sure!
And breath from you shall not depart,
‘til you’ve won that peaceful war.
Laying down in fields of green,
you stop to rest awhile;
As love drifts ghostly; still unseen,
you feel it curve your smile!
Vistas spread before your thoughts,
like fodder you ensile.
Off-the-beaten path you’re caught,
as new maps are compiled … …

As for the children thing ... you must first meet your soulmate for without him all the rest may end in chaos and then your young life will pass before you can understand it all!
hope you don't mind me filling up your page with all of this!

I'm not crazy, just mildly insane! I love children. Hey there are three in my family and we are all very well behaved. My mum said that as a little baby I did not even cry out in public. It all has to do with how you raise them. My Mum and Da have done a wonderful job with us, well I think so.
They did not treat us like stupid children, but allowed us to be what we were, little adults.
But yeah, I want children, lots of children. And I am about to be 22 and am starting to want to be married and have children. I may be young, but I ain't getting any younger. And there are things that make me want to make sure I do have children young. {Before I may not be able to have any.}
Eight children! Wow! You must have quite the Mother!
~Rhiannon~
-
Dear lord, I've read the other comments, and I think I may laugh myself to death!
FIVE kids?! You're out of your mind, I tell you!
Take my advice: Two, maybe even THREE, will do just fine!
I, of course, am too young to have any children, and don't intend on having any children soon.
However, I DO have seven siblings (which means my mother had eight children, although most people don't like to count me as a person).
If you have near as many as my mother, then you will have to either discipline them harshly, as my mother did to us, or form some type of peace treaty, because they will be at one another's throats at all times.
-
I prefer Eccentric! Oh you want an odd American, just meet any member of my family. We should all be back in England or Even Scotland or Ireland.
I have been watching brit coms since I was born. 'Are you being Served?' being one of my favorites. I grew up reading H2G2, listening to celtic music and eating dishes like Mince and Chips. {Oh now I've made myself hungry.}
I even have an accent, yep!
Oh, I love Monty Python! The Dead Parrot being my favorite sketch.
Well I best be going, I have some writing to do!
~Rhiannon~
-
I never told you how much I love that quote at the top! "Those of intellect are seldom sane, for sanity only breeds ignorance."
I really like to think of myself that way!
Well, I'm off to read a bit of your poetry now! Just thought you'd like to know that... A bit of fair warning, really.
And as for my "odd sense of humor", as so many people like to put it (actually, no one's ever put it that way. They call me "different" in attempt to be nice. I myself prefer "odd". 'Normal' is what the majority of a society deems it to be. Why follow the masses?)
continuing my sentence before distracted by the parenthesis: As for my "odd sense of humor", I watched a lot of Monty Python, read Douglas Adams's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and play chess with a man from England every Friday.
What an odd American I am indeed...
-
I hope. Anyway, five kids is not that much. There are three in my family, my grandparents on my mum's side, I can't remember which is which, but one comes from a family of 10 kids and the other comes from 11 kids.
I just love children.
Well talk to you later.
~Rhiannon~
-
Oh I see. I know what you mean, being single definately sucks. I've been single for quite some time. Don't give up hope though, I'm sure you'll find someone soon and I'm sure you'll make a wonderful mother. Wow though, five kids. That'll be a bit of a chore but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end. Well, talk to you later and remember not to give up hope.
-Larry
-
Cause I am about to turn 22 and I'm single, not only that but I have never been kissed! And I want a baby, well really I want to find someone and fall in love get married and have five children. Ever since I was a child I wanted to grow up to be a mother. But babysitting little Kennedy made me so broody! She was crying and I walked her around and sang to her the song my mother used to sing to me when I was young. And she just stopped crying and just stared at me smilling. My heart just skipped a beat.
Oh and yeah I think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory is MUCH better than the old Willy Wonka one. Not to mention I LOVE Johnny Depp!
Ok, I'm off. TTYL!
~Rhiannon~
-
Hey. Its good to hear that you're doing fine. Yeah I got to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory a while back. Its a really good movie, a lot better than Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory in my opinion. How come you became broody when you babysat? Well, talk to you later.
-
Well I'm fine, I have had my good days and my bad days. I've just painted my bedroom purple, and have become quite obssesed with the movie Charlie and the Chocolate factory, so much so I have been writting a Willy Wonka Fan-fic on my quizilla account.
My cuz had a baby and I babysat her on Monday, talking about becoming Broody.
That really is all, nothing really happens around here. Hope you have been doing good. Well I best be off, I have much to to.
~Rhiannon~
-
Hey Gypsy, how are you? Wow, its been a really long time. I'm sorry about that. I got a new job a little while bakc and things have just been hectic. So how has everything been with you? Hope to hear from you soon.
-Larry
-
Oh I didn't mind at all. I hate it when some one goes, "Hey you're not weird, you are normal."
I'm weird and quite the eccentric and I love it. I mean what is normal but what you make of it? So normal to me is weird.
~Rhiannon~
-
Don't mind the 'strange' comment. I find normal boring, and as such consider 'strange' a good thing, though I myself prefer to be called 'odd', because no one ever uses the word.
So, while others may call you strange as a means to insult you, always remember that your mad little friend considers it a compliment.
-
Hello! Strange little friend. huh? I like it! I'm glad you find me interesting, most people find me weird. Not that I mind I am eccentric.
Well I hope you like my work. I shall now be off and reply to your other comment.
~Rhiannon~
-
Ha ha! And here I thought I'd find no one interesting on this site! Most people are very illiterate, dark, or just... Well, just not my kind of people in general.
Thereby, when I say 'interesting', I am referring to interesting as compared to my own self evaluation of what interesting is.
And as such you are probably about the third interesting person I have met on AllPoetry (those beforehand excluded).
And as such, I shall immediately embark upon the reading of your poetry! I hope your poetry is as interesting as you are, my strange little friend!
-
Well thank you, you have made me feel special!
You know I don't like liking people for what they are not. None of my friends wear a mask so to speak. I like to know people who are who they are, because I am not going to be anything other than me, so why should I want them to be?
Thank you for the lovely comment, it was wonderful to see when I logged on.
~Rhiannon~
-
Thanx! I wish you luck on your novel. I know how tiring it can be.
~Rhiannon~
-
WOW!!! you are an inspiration you know.im writing a fantasy novel too. lookin forward to reading yours.
-
I don't always get around to checking or responding to my messages all the time, so I thought that you would be the one that I am sending a message to today. Don't you feel special?
I hope you do! lol.
I love that comment that you made to me about being one of the nicest guys that you've met. That was a week or two ago, and it still brings a smile to my face. That someone actually likes me for being me. You are one of the better writers that I have met on this site. Keep up the good work!
-
Oh those are my two favorite. They are two of the songs that inspired one of my short story.
Well I live in Iowa, but I'm from Kansas City MO. My mum is from here through.
~Rhiannon~
-
Whoa I just realized you are from Iowa...that's where I grew up! I still live there during the summers! That's crazy!
-
oooo that's a tough one...I think probably Marrakesh Night Market off of The Mask and the Mirror. It makes me happy in my heart...I also like the Mummers Dance (I think that's what it's called) it's loverly too.
-
I do, do I? LOL, thanx. I love her too, what is your favorite song?
~Rhiannon~
-
I love Loreena MacKennit! you rock the Casbah!
-
Sorry, I have had a migrane for the past week. I try not to read or write when I have one. I will go tonight and read them.
~Rhiannon~
-
Thanx! It is from "An Ideal Husband" I loved the quote and had to put it down.
~Rhiannon~
-
Hey, you haven't commented on two of my poems yet! *pokes you* (In case you couldn't tell, I'm desperate for comments.) Hope you had a good thanksgiving!
-
I just read your author page, and I love that quote, "I love to talk about nothing, it's the only thing that I know anything about" That's awesome!
