Flaming Sky on June 29, 2005Thanks very much... it's important to me that people notice I have a voice-- I want to be a writer for a living (of course, I won't be able to be a poet alone but that's just one facet), so a singular voice is important. Thank you for your encouragement.

JennyLee on March 7, 2004I was so sad to hear you describe yourself as ugly. I have a preteen and I know how much she thinks about her looks. I tell her that if she is beautiful on the inside it will shine out and make her seem beautiful to others. Please believe that about yourself to. I know many people who I can objectively say aren't at all attractive, but when you are around them they seem beautiful. Now, I'm off to read a few of your poems.
