    I rewrote your poem

    FirstScript

Flowers roam beauty's realm; delicate thoughts
inside the heart beating with love's passion,
    rain dances beside her cool summer smiles;
singing to the heaven's mystery where
    robotic worlds wink imagination.
    Softly sliding seductive scenery
    cruises dreams; fulfilment's sanctuary,
    reality waits for another time
in the future's welcoming arms of peace,
    pleasantly perfecting generous laughs,
the whole world skips rainbows for her pleasure.

My earliar comments I made on your poems got deleted.. thats why I had to comment on them again...

Again, previously the contest pages had some problems, so it didnt really let me see the pics... I am happy, more than happy to have read them again and thus understand them in a better way

Hope you didnt mind my "twice commenting" !!

take cares and have a nice time

    shya

Thank you for your comments, my dear. I used to thrive off the negative feedback I received for my poetry, but after a few of my poems were banned, I gave up on posting anything. Nowadays I post the odd thing, but nothing that I know will rub people up the wrong way. I shall return the favour very soon.

i found a rictameter i did earlier when i was looking in my files

    Bureaucracy - Rictameter

    Here, now,
    breath's forever,
    merging with pillow clouds
    that soften angels' feather brows
while they watch the world's bureaucracy slide
    through humanity's helpless lives,
    language no barrier
    as they stretch wings
    here, now.

The paradelle is one of the more demanding French fixed forms, first appearing in the langue d'oc love poetry of the 11th century. It is a poem of 4 6-line stanzas in which the 1st and 2nd as well as the 3rd and 4th lines of the first 3 stanzas must be identical. The 5th and 6th lines must use all the words from the preceding lines and only those words. The final stanza must use every word from all the preceding stanzas and only those words.

  • FirstScript on March 3, 2006
Thats so sweet of you... yes I will try a nonet now for sure Thanks so much for being so nice to me here...
  • individuality on March 3, 2006
    why not try a nonet?

    Wonders Never Cease

Perhaps then a Nonet placed right here,
maybe I could do a Sonnet,
my mind is in turmoil now,
    a Nonet - a Sonnet,
    wonders never cease,
    I've decided,
    a Nonet,
    Sonnet?
    No!

A nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc... until line nine that finishes with one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional.

    Line 1 - 9 syllables. Line 2 - 8 syllables. Line 3 - 7 syllables. Line 4 - 6 syllables. Line 5 - 5 syllables. Line 6 - 4 syllables. Line 7 - 3 syllables. Line 8 - 2 syllables.Line 9 - 1 syllable.
