    Hey Karen,

Yes all is good here nothing dramatic to report, the girls are all doing well. Yes I have been somewhat uninspired in the poetic field of late but I put that down to having a bit more of a life and being pretty busy with work.

I still enjoy my poetry though and hope one day soon to post something wildly romantic and whimsical lol (if I ever get a fella that is) . I hope you are well too hun. Thank you very much for stopping by.. its always good to see a friendly face.

  • Aussie Gypsy on September 28, 2006
Well I just thought I'd stop by, haven't been by your page in a while... I see we are lacking new reads, thought somethin was wrong with my computer LOL. Hope everything is good with you and yours.

I guess if life could be summed up in one word it would be...

    BE

for it is man's involvement in trying to change his nature
that ends up bringing about his downfall. There will be those
who say man has always been savage, but what we often reveal
is just a reaction to what comes our way.

Instead of accepting we keep trying to change outcome which often only leads us further away from our true nature. Man will always be dual by nature, so to deny it's existence in self is fruitless.

We can however and do feel what is right by nature and make our choice accordingly, determined by what we THINK the outcome should bring. I believe it was Walt Whitman who said something to the effect, "If I am the devil's child, I will then live from the devil."

Many live in the fog of thinking they are only good and that I believe is a fallacy. Man by nature is dual, just like all else that exists. It is the manifestation of choice that determines if we live by the good or bad side of our energy, but there will ALWAYS be both within us, for we are part
of the all and all is part of us.

To join in leads back to our roots to avoid leads us further away. Only when man see this will we stop with the games
and domination, for to hurt or ignore one, is to hurt or ignore us all.

    Hugs...Eddy

thank you very much for digging around in my poems. ys i have alot of one liners, havent had my muse going for a while lately and just kind of fell out of writing "poems" although i do have several posted, childrens, love, eroica, philosophy and humor. perhaps i shall get back to "poems" someday. i am rather quirky like that, hot and cold. i will just up and srop writing poems and mayb turn to stories, fables things like that or just stop writing altogher. a couple of yeaars ago i quit altogehter for almost a year. it just didnt interst me to write. i have too many hobbys. music and art being my other loves.

again i really appreciate everything. its always good to have new readers. it helps to get me inspired again.

i write very slow, i am legaly blind and its a bit of a task. the one liners eventualy become full blown poems. i have a tendecy to write backwords like that. have a good strong finishing line and then write backwards to the title, trying never to use the title within the poem itself.

to me brevity is the key to the enitre poem. it has to have meaning, say someing. not just a fluffy poem of imagery. i want it to stick to your ribs so to speak and at the end of the day remember the poem for its message.

    anyway... i ramble.

The belly (all true) we are quite sure we could put her on a diet, if it involved food rewards. We change colours with the dress every day (or rotate them through the colours) She sleeps in the nude. (Originally I was going to change the colour for different drives/walks but it became a day thing. ---- I think she prefers the sexy little black number. --- (you are quite correct that dog is spoilt beyond belief - She sits in the front while one of us (the one not driving) sits in the back).

Aliana, I found your poem of lost innocence profound not least because you used intricate, apt imagery to wind your way into a place in the adult world - all children in adult clothes: so very apt. One thing - Do you mean 'light' or 'life' fading in your eyes? You are, on this poem, a skilled poet. Lyndon.
