I must apologize to you my friend. The poem was not a sonnet at all. It was written in a metered style with:
trochaic tetrameter (4 trochees, 8 syllables)
anapestic trimeter (3 anapests, 9 syllables)
Not a sonnet, just metered poetry. I know how painstaking it was for me to count the syllables 8/9/8 so, I didn't understand the "choppy" comment, but somehow I guess it's all in how the flow feels to the individual reading the poetry. Thanks for your honest critique.

I like unicorns and pictures called like.. "Enchanted Pools" and "Enchanted Dolphin" that stuff. You've got a good taste of interests.
