hmmm...thats cool...i like you lolol...i find it amazing how some people can be so shallow...(not exactly like mean shallow but...just not deep...which often comes out in their writing) and also find it amazing when i meet (other, not to brag) people who arent...you are one of those people (the ones who aren't) PS: im gonna comment this on your main page so people can see how cool you are and so i can get some points...lolol...oh yeah and so you can keep it forever and ever

I just stopped by today
Hope you are having a wonderful day
That's festive and really gay
Because I would have it no other way
Champagne at midnight...bootie call,
watch out for St. Nick, he ain't that tall
Drink moderately so you don't fall
And if you're quesy--lean against the wall
What started out as a little note
Became a poem the size of a boat
My head is medically afloat
My dog has now turned into a goat
 Happy Holidays Gregg

Hello, I am glad to meet you. The first thing I should tell you is never fight the urge to write. And don't force it either. I always have a notepad with me wherever I go, so that I will have something to write on, should the urge come over me. The same with a sketchpad, but we are not speaking of drawing. I am glad to "adopt" you and hope we can both learn from each other.

Ahah! I was born in Traverse City, Michigan on January 4th. I grew up in the Upper Peninsula (we moved there when I was four years old). It IS tundra up there, I SWEAR it is! I am glad to hear it is temporary, but saddened to hear that you are depressed. I hope that you feel better soon. s and many bright blessing to you.
From your friend,
Love always,
~Tawnya~

lol, it comes as no surprise that everyone likes Raven Aurora better. I will tell you why I decided to change it (there are a few reasons).
1. It's a front--to mask my insecurity around people I don't really know (especially guys) and fear of rejection.
2. In reality, I have closed myself off from a lot of people; much of this is due to so-called friends from the past screwing me over, being affronted by guys I had no interest in, or not being easily understood or related to.
3. You will probably never believe this, but I actually have more friends on the internet than I do in real life...
4. My heart is getting colder, it seems. With every failed relationship or lost friend, I fall deeper into the pits of despair and hopelessness. I have begun to wonder if love is really meant for me (I don't think it is).
5. It complements my (most of the time) melancholic mood.
6. I was born in ice and snow (in Detroit, Michigan on December 8, 1982). It feels like a tundra up there eight months out of the year.
To tell the truth, it really comes down to depression...
Don't worry, this is only temporary. I won't cease having a warm heart (or being anyone's friend) because of the name.
Many blessings,
Raven Aurora

Blahhhh, you changed your name. I thought Raven Aurora was much prettier and fit you much better. You're a beautiful person, and you are warm and filled with love for all. Ah well, we all must dare to remake ourselves from time to time. So long as we are still friends, I do not mind a little ice.

Hi Tawn
I am going to try and get the vocabulary classes consolidated and made an official part of the AP School of Poetry. (besides, we could all use new ways of saying the same old thing all the time, don't you think?! lol) I'll probably write a column about it next week--I've been meaning to do it forever, but have been putting it off because of summer school and laziness. lol. I hope that enough people think as highly about it as you to want to have the classes during the next session. I am on all the time and need an extra diversion to keep me from being bored in class!
How are you doing, personally? I hope all is well--things are a little turbulent in my world right now, but oh well. I'll be all right--eventually. I visited your page at deviant art and you have very nice drawings. If I thought you were into computer graphics, I would've asked you to make me some backgrounds. I'll pay if you want. lol
Take care of yourself, and I hope to see you around soon
Many blessings,
Raven Aurora

Hello you wrote on my page so i write on yours. yes good times indeed!

Thank you s
I am doing fine...and that is the truth. I have spent the last two days phoning my friends and privately thanking them in their own individual way for being there for me throughout this whole journey. I have made amends with my mother and we have a new relationship starting up. I have meditated and thanked my cosmic forces for allowing me to see more of what life has had to offer. I have cried rivers over the overwhelming amount of support, love, and well-wishes people have sent to me through this website and my other poetry site. I have yet to go through my e-mails, taking the journey of recovery slowly, because I know there will be more emotions spilled over the pages inside. I have been in more pain than I ever experienced before, but this pain holds the healing process of all past pains. I am me, and I need to internalize all aspects of this journey from every angle that was shown to me through everyone else's eyes. I have a fountain of ink to spill in writings over this incredible experience. I will forever remain humbled over to those who showed me how to do this journey in peace and still survive. I am recovering. And I feel great.
 s Gregg

It means, "May Barbarians invade your personal space." ...or some such. I got it from my sister, who got it from a website.
-
What does your motto mean? I think it's Latin? With my pathetic knowledge, I picked out something about invading barbarians?
-
Hmmm, for the life of me, I cannot seem to remember which poem that was. I am sorry. My head is so full of college and art classes and writing classes that I can't remember things like I used to anymore. =\

Alright folks, I have it figured out...to learn how to post your poetry for critiquing please go to the group you are already approved for and check the posts I have just entered tonight. This is the way that I would like to see the pages run. (I have not posted in two of the groups yet 'Betty Boob' and 'Lord of the Rings' because I have no poetry that fits those subjects but if you just click on the other three , I have placed a sample of my poetry in those Societies.
I do not expect members to critique my works, especially the first poems I have placed, they are trophy winners and have already been critiqued in my library, I am just the moderator and friend here to help and guide you along your poetic journey.
There are two ways to contact an author...by clicking on the pencil beside their name you send them a private Instant Message . By adding your comments in the Comment Box , you are critiquing the poem and allowing other members to read these critiques so I would advise everyone to go to
allpoetry.com/special/critique
for the guidelines on critiquing and to use the information in that article as your textbook for these Societies.
For those who have posted links or poems for admittance to the Societies, if you wish those poems to be critiqued, please follow the instructions on “How To Post Your Poetry For Critiquing”. Good luck everyone and happy reading and constructive criticism.
