Read your comment first thing in the morning just now and have to say I got all teary eyed myself.

Congratulations and I cant tell you how happy I am that you are finally happy - though we dont have time to chat much anymore, every time I come here I think of you and wonder what you are up to.

Those names are beautiful and I have no doubt you will make an awesome dad. people like you and me...with open minds full of creativity - we are good parents. We know what its like to have others try to keep us down, we know what its like to have people tell us it cant be done, or we are dreamers etc...and once you have a little life laying in your arms, you just know that the first thing you are going to teach them is that they can do anything and being a dreamer is the best thing they could ever be.

Keep in touch. I probably have a different email than I used to - its now justplainjen@gmail.com

drop me a line once in a while and take care of that pretty lady of yours.

Congratulations. Really...you just made my rainy day bright.

Doug, way back in 2002 you commented on my poem: Silken Cords. I love your comment but have to appologize for not replying sooner. You see, for some reason, I posted those first poems and forgot all about the site and didn't see your comment. Please forgive me. Your comment is wonderful! Thank you!

lol, thankyou for the comment- i'm glad you enjoy it. reading your words of wisdom i couldn't help but be reminded of tacit consent, and by refusing to vote you're withdrawing part of that consent (very interesting). I agree that there is no democracy, and that with the current state of the electoral college- many individual votes do not count, especially in party majority states (like utah), lol, but i still vote though- mostly for socialist parties so it doesn't matter. Are you someday considering withdrawing full tacit consent?
  • Bigmammajen on October 17, 2004
yes......yes. I still wonder about you.

Its funny when you look in the mirror... is it really just glass? or whne i look in the mirror, is there in another reality another me just always looking in the mirror too?

and if it there was...Which side would be better? or would it be just the same and the mirror is just another way to show us that no matter where u r, ur you...

Its funny how we can stare in a lovers eye and c their soul but whne we look in them irror.. well I dont c anything..

Is the mirror my friend of enemy?

just thought I would curl up next to you before I drift off to la la land. wish you lived closer. i could sure use someone playing with my hair til I fall asleep and then wiping my tears away after my eyes have finished crying.

just thought I would say hello.....and good night

Two things... Breathing, always breathe from the diaphram, it takes more effort, true, however, its effect are far more reaching.. Listening, anyone can listen, morevoer, to REALLY listen we miss nothing that will be of benefit for us in the telling. This was different! I did enjoy it. ~~wishintreeUK~~

    like sharing breaths

    yes.

Im breathing......falling asleep, it will get deeper and more shallow.

    listen to me sleeping.

    goodnight my friend.

breathing deep is like a painting done in water colors that are too wet... they all run together... the colors breathe one another... New colors are new... and each breath is the same breath but the most important thing is that it is the same as the first... and all the breaths/colors are the same as the first...

a single moment can reach on forever if you want it to...

    breathe.

    deep.

    always

breathing in their exhale is the best....what once was inside them, now fills your own lungs, circulates through your blood and passes through your heart, what once was within them, now is within you, filling your heart with life....and you exhale and they inhale and its passed back to them, only this time, what once was in them, then in you, is now back in them and ......yeah....

    breathe.

    deep.

    always

Lets grab hands and drive off a cliff like they do in thelma and loise, and then we will get famous. ok. lets not, lets just run away for a week. Hand in hand. YOu can sing to me on a warm sunny beach and Ill take your picture, and it wont matter that we arent famous to the rest of the world, cuz youll always have photos of our trip and Ill always have your song in my heart, and the rest of the world wont matter.

thanks for your comments, I tried some new angles, thanks to your lovely comments. I'm so glad you actually make helpful comments! Most people have such bland comments I'm not sure if they even read my poem or not! so thanks a ton
